Meridian Naturals SAM-e (also known as S-adenosylmethionine) is not an herb but a naturally occurring chemical in the body. It is a compound produced by our bodies from methionine. Methionine is an amino acid found in protein-rich foods. Meridian Naturals SAM-e supports healthy mood and joint function.

What is SAM-e Used For?

SAM-e helps with the maintenance of cell membranes, removal of toxic substances from the body, and the production of mood-enhancing neurotransmitters. SAM-e is required for the synthesis of norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin. It is also helpful for nutritional support of those suffering from joint discomfort.

Free of: Egg, milk, fish, peanuts, shellfish, soybean, tree nuts, wheat, corn, gluten, rice, added sugar, yeast, artificial colors and preservatives.

SAM-e Suggested use:
As a dietary supplement, for adults, take one (1) tablet daily on an empty stomach or as directed by a physician. DO NOT exceed 8 tablets per day.
