CarboTame™ contains alpha-amylase inhibitors from Phase 2™ (Starch Neutralizer) and green tea to reduce digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, combined with chromium for healthy carbohydrate metabolism. Phase 2™ (Starch Neutralizer) is a vegetarian glycoprotein (49,000 Daltons molecular weight), extracted from white kidney bean, capable of inhibiting pancreatic alpha-amylase. Green Tea is rich in catechins, which are known to inhibit alpha-amylase in the small intestine.
