stupid question i know but would some one please explain a drop set to me i have never heard this term used before

during your set, you do as many reps as possible...drop the weight..do a many reps as possible with the new weight...drop the weight again...rep out........you can do it with dumbells, barbells, and machines...you can drop the weights once, twice, three times, etc.. (as many as you like)

really good techinque for a great pump....

Drop sets are great for strength. The maximum amount of drops you should do is 3, decreasing by 10% each time. Heres a quick example: Say your doing Pushdowns with 100pounds. Do as many as you can (8), then drop the weight to 90 and go for 6, drop the weight to 80 and do as many as possible.
