the side chest is your best pose, looks really good!

Once you tighten up these last 4 weeks you will look really good, keep it up MU!

it looks like you cock your arm back on the side shot, i've been told to keep it close to your side and keep your upper arm parallel with your side or somewhat perpendicular with the floor. just a thought, your arm should pop a little more

everything looks good though, and I frickin got caught lookin at this pg today, my gf walks in the apt and sees eyeing up this pg and I can't really desrcibe the look, other than maybe disappointment in me as well as disgust, lol. with a "so thats what you look at when i'm gone" grin

lol gotta watch out for that. i hope shes not jelious cause of me ;) jk

actually my arm is tight against my side so that it squishes it to make it bigger. but it does look far out i see what your saying. and il gona try putting the other arm a little more parallel tonight when i practice, see how i can tweek it. thanx for the advice

these were taken with no pump or anything, i just woke up ate, practiced the posing and descided to take some pics.

well i figure its time to start thinking about the last week and what i wana do. i dont think i will be doing the typical water/sodium depleat thing. im also not gona sh*t carb load. i read some articles about natural bbing and the final week prep. their advice was to treat the week as normal and act like the pump up before the stage is a workout and you should do everything that you do during the week for it too. it made sinse to me cause thats how i get the best pump.

im also taking suggestions for the routine music. any ideas? not looking for any hard core rock either, being im small i dont wana come out being like im a guest poser, thats disprespectful.

yeah dont do anything extreme, and dont cut water down too much. I found it much better to do what I did this time around than any other time.

3gallons a day tiill the day before, then 1/2 gallon
sodium, high until 4 days out, then just gradually lower, dont eliminate
Carbs, depends on you, I started loading 2 days out

and yes, pump up for a good 15 mins before going on stage, and make sure your tan is good to go at least an hour before show time, dont wait till the last minute, except for oil.

MUbodbuilder
May 16th, 2007, 04:00 PM
thats exactly what i was thinking... a lot of water untill the last day. i figure my body will still be pumping it out just as fast and i wont be giving it much more, so that will work fine i think. same with sodium. i always find i look best a day after a carb load. for some reason when i have been eating carbs that day, i cant get a pump. so friday il proly load then go back to none untill maybe a few sugars right before stage.

Nothing too durastic. Keep a good eye on how you are looking the last week. Make notes at the times of the day you look the best and are just shredded. Then eat/drink that amoutn of food/water to do what you did earlier in the week to look good. I honestly looked better 3 days out with a higher water intake

How many weeks are left?

You want motivation? You look great, but you still have a bit of fat to lose. I want to see deep striations. I want you to look like granite!

Keep it going!

Here's some motivation, you already look better than I did, I don't think I was that shredded for my contest and you still have some time. On the hands on hips most muscular, i'd try to bring my chest up higher, elbows flared out wider, makes you look wider. I didn't practice the vacuum well enough, so it screwed me up bad.

Tips: get a tan, be sure to practice posing after training when you're dead tired (thats how it feels on stage, as you already know). keep the cardio limited during the last week, and maybe dinoiii can help you with some glucose disposal agents for the carbs in the final week. in aceto's book he says stop cardio 10days out.

Remember this from Louie: "I'm 'ot satisfied, I want mo' weight, I wanna beat 'em!"

well iv got about 21 days exactly left. 3 weeks man its close. i know i still have fat and thats what im worried about. i feel as if i should have any at this point so im kicking up cardio a bit. im only around 1800cals and i dont really WANT to go lower than that. its also getting really hard to train like i used to. after like 10min of lifting i wana go home and eat. todays lower back day and arms which im pumped for. after a serving of SMASH il be good to go!

granite here i come!

just keep pushing. Do your cardio for 45 mins. In 3 weeks when you step on stage and look chiseled youll be glad you stayed on the treadmill.

ya iv started riding my bike every morning. do you thinks thats good enough or should i be doing more HIIT style stuff? i really should know myself better by this point but you know, when you get to this point you second guess yourself and so another opinion helps.

i also get tons of daily activity in with work but its not every day. its landscaping a few hours 5 days out of the week. im in the sun and sweat a ton!

continue the cardio style that you've been using, switching things now may be a bad thing

probly a smart call. i need to settle down. i start summer classes in 2 days and things are gona get hectic for me. i need to plan out what i want to do here the last weeks. i think the last week i will add back in a small amount of carbs and more protein cause when i follow a high protein, low carb diet i get pumps easier. proly gona carb load wed. and thursday then a small amount on friday and saturday. and no crap load either. just gona eat like normal pre workout foods. maybe some PB and honey. increase water untill friday sat i will lower it and over all the last week watch salt content.

Sounds like a smart plan to me. If you are looking really good thursday or friday...just keep doing what you are doing then.....

pb and honey preworkout? maybe pb and oats, not honey

MUbodbuilder
June 5th, 2007, 02:23 PM
i ment that for pre warm up before stage. pb always gives me a huge pump and of course honey is just plain good with it. other than that im not gona go crazy eating sat morning. im actually gona eat just like any other day. im gona shoot for the same results i get when i go to the gym

so iv chosen my song and memorized my posing routine down pat. i may be weird but i kinda like to do it at the last second. if i were to have done it a month ago i would do nothing but think about it too much. it would mess with my mind. i still have a few decisions to make as far as how to do my abs during poses. vacume or tight, and which tight. i can flex them tight in several diff ways. im leaning toward a tight pose cause im still holding some fat around the belly button and it shows to much with the vacum. thoughts on this and posing?

today was my first day of summer class. its from 730-10 every morning but friday. i do my cardio before now and lift after the class. meals are of course before and after. its just a little more stress and i gotta deal with people now when id rather just sit around lol.

i want to thank you all so far for helping me so much. i know i still have a small road to travel but i couldnt have gotten here without you all.
Dinoiii-thanks for the diet help which got me to this point.
rynobull, dalver, b-nat-you have all helped in countless ways. diet, cardio, posing, and just friendship and advise.
and all you others supporting me id be naming a lot here. lol DA is my fav board by far cause of EVERYONE here like you guys

No prob bro. as far as the poses, you'll haveta post em up side by side for us to choose. I was taller in my class, so I shoulda went with the tight look, but I was also holding some fat in the lower abs so I figured doing the vacuum would help. it ended up lookin like @ss esp for my efforts, I would make your decision now and practice the sh** out of it.

MUbodbuilder
June 6th, 2007, 10:13 AM
ya iv pretty much decided to go with the tight look. my rib cage is big and i look skinny sticking it out there lol. besides that my obliques are coming in very dry and seperated which id like to keep tight and show off. :D
