Best course of action ( for me at least):
Applying vitamin E right on the marks - Works real well. I went with once a day right before bed. If you have a vitamin shoppe or vitamin world near you, I know they both sell vials of vitamin-E that is cheaper than slicing open capsules. I did this once a day, before bed. Why before bed? Because this stuff is sticky as hell, so I'd rather put it on and then pass out than get it all over my clothes all day.

Applying Cocoa Butter - I usually go with this a couple times a day, right on the stretch mark. A company called "palmers" makes a cocoa butter with vitamin E added to it. You can get it at any pharmacy

Causing Proliferation - Using St.Ives Apricot Scrub on the stretch marks really caused them to fade away. I got this idea from a member of a different board, but it really worked. I think its a combo of the apricot particles used as a "scrub" and the acids used to dry the skin.

I used this protocol with success in my armpit area as well as on my "love handles"

I went out and paid a very high price for some "stretch mark cream" and it didnt do jack, I have been using vitamin E oil on them for the last 2-3 months with little to no success, they just keep getting re-ripped open, and darker and redder and wider... it kinda blows. I plan on cutting very soon, so maybe once I start they will be manageable, but nothing has worked just yet.
