lol, it depends upon their placement in my workout.

If first, I can do 120's x 8 with db's (but have not tried to go heavier; don't see a real point...I move to barbell and have gone as high as 275 x 6, but tend to not go higher, the sheer stress doesn't seem worth it anymore).

Seriously though I have been challenged to get into strongman-style events and such but have yet to pursue it. I am still an aesthetics guy for the most part...but like a bit of size...it is quite commanding when walking pretty much ... well...anywhere.

Any of you care to post vids of any of these lifts? Maybe a youtube link? Wouldn't be too hard.

Anyone can type out a weight and some reps.

I likely run fewer cycles than 80-90% of this board per year. 3AD currently is my first cycle of the year and actually the first in a rather long time and the last thing I did was pretty mild. Most of the stuff that comes from cycle knowledge comes from client base to tell you the truth. I haven't been the biggest fan of many of the 3rd and 4th generation PH/PS/DeS, and my touch with the darkside (i.e. - alternative AAS pre-scheduled) even boast MORE vicarious living.

In the grand scheme though I was aiming to get some You Tubes up, but the question is one of both gym allowance...my gym is being rather silly about cams/phones lately AND my essential lazy ass remembering a cam at the wee hours of the morning...I head to the gym at 5am for those accustomed to my schedule. Hopefully this will be a go soon...hehe, been lifting this heavy for 16 years now...what I see as not so much, others see as heavy. There are guys who outdo me on those lifts still and many of the gyms I workout at are pretty commercialized.

COMPLETE ASIDE: Hey, why the heck did Black_Jack get "banned" or did he simply enter this into his status?

happy I am not the only one who noticed that. I hope BlackJack would comment as I think I have still seen him on here with users at the bottom of the page.

In tune with that you tube thing, they just banned you tube in the military as they think that a lot of things are given away that you the video streamer may simply be unaware of that viewers at home can find out. Kind of creepy actually...it is kind of like the warnings that go out to all the users of myspace I think. But people still tend to give a lot of info. I may wait until I am in one of those out-of-town locations due to all of this talk for real though...lol, call me Mr. Paranoid.

Nonetheless, I am not trying to deter you per se from the log, and would likely subscribe to such a thread...perhaps you can get video feeds of you actually ingesting the pills as well... :D

maybe we can have a spirited lift-a-thon whereas in order to compete you would have to offer up a video-stream of you lifting a particular weight...until that time, you would be crowned DA's ____(fill in exercise)____ lifting champion. lol

Anyway - interesting and absolutely have gone way off topic, but somethings need to be said sometimes.

I like these numbers.

Do I hear any takers on beating ugab's 17 reps with 85 pounds...I have never really gone for that many reps with them to tell you the truth, but you have given me a challenge for the next session...HA! I usually just lift up to about 12 reps or so upper body and then increase weight.

For lower body...I have done certain things up to 40 reps, but depends on light vs. heavy lifting days overall.

I have done a 100-rep challenge style thing some odd years ago where I'd pick like one exercise (say dumbbell press) and lift the weight until I couldn't any longer - maybe it was 17 reps...set it down and waited like 20-40 seconds and picked up...the idea was to get to 100 total reps in like an extended rest-pause. I haven't done such a thing since lifting at my current stats though and would be entertained how fatiuged I would get at today's weights...interesting thought (thinking out loud).

One of my buddies is a freak, he was doing 80lbs X20-23 reps last time we worked out together. He's actually a small guy in stature, but his athletic ability and combo of strength/endurance is really breath-taking. He just has this natural strength that I'd kill for. He always teirs his lifts for ~25 reps the first set, ~15 reps the second, and ~10 for the third.

Myself, I can get only 10-11ish with the 85lbers at the moment, on a good day.

I also like to shock myself with some high reps for legs, dana. I find them especially useful for "calf" work and for "hamstrings"

I'm in this camp as well. I began my ph experience with about 2 cycles per year (4 total), and I haven't done one since winter of 05. I think I'm due for one, I'll likely cycle again in a month or so now that I've gotten back into the full swing of things. Fact is, I've been making great natural gains lately - so if its not broken, why fix it. I am interested in doing a MOHN or M5AA cycle eventually before summer gets in full swing though.
