Is it true that this is because of my genetics? Instead of like, a peak that some people have, I just have a big ball of mass.

Start hammering Preacher Curls and I doubt your "biceps wont peak"!

Hrm...I sorta have the same problem? Could this possibly be due to BF% as well? And how do you do preacher hammer curls?

yes and no...genetics play a MAJOR role in the appearance of the muscle..the shape and what not....but you could try to increase the size of the short head (inside part of you arm and the head that peaks up when flexing) by placing the long head in a more slacked position and flexing your elbow....although you cant selectively contract one head and not the other, you can place more stress on the short head by doing preacher curls or any other movement where your upper arm is in front of you body

i was talkin to someone about this because mine dont peak alot either. they just get thicker. he said you cant really make them peak higher its just genetics. the only thing you can change is where they attach to your arm like making your bis longer. which makes sense because ive tried all the routines to make them peak higher n they dont work. my biceps just get thicker

Mine too, I just get thicker, I have a buddy that has a baseball for a biceps. But I can curl more weight than he can, I always attributed it to having the longer muscle structure, and not the peak. Just what we have to deal with, I know what I can do, don't matter what others think.

Ah, I think I might be able to help here... I had a similar problem, but my right arms bicep would ball up fine, but the left, well, barely flexed, even though they are both indentical in terms of strength. It's all about that 'mind-muscle' connection. FOCUS on flexing that bicep when you work it, and when you're done, FLEX it in the mirror for 30seconds. Learn to strengthen the mind-muscle connection and you will get better control over your bi's and they will eventually peak.

Huh, I see. Similar to how guys with larger pecs train to make them bounce individually, so they do the pumping thing right/left/right/left. I will have to give this a try. Thanks man.

And at the same time I can practice staring myself down, with an intense gase, til I tell me everything I want to know.......ummm wait what was I talking about again?
