Hey guys,
Gotta go to the Grocery Store tomorrow and restock on everything..I am totally out of everything!..I just kinda started a High protein/calorie intake diet to put on mass of lean muscle.
I just need to know what all you guys eat/buy? I am lost for things to get..Please help me..No one around my community does this so i am like the only one and can not relate to anybody and its kinda hard.. Just need to know what to get and what to stay away from..What do you guys eat for a light meal so you can get the 7-8 meals a day??..So if you guys could give me your diet menus that would be awesome!
Also can anyone explain what a balanced meal is? What exactly makes it balanced?
Any Help is appreciated

i dont really have a menu but i can tell you generally what i eat. almost every morning i eat 4 or 5 egg whites with one whole egg, and some oatmeal or wheat bread toast with some pb. about 10 and 3 i have a mrp. for lunch i eat something high in protein and slow burning carbs. i.e. tuna and brown rice with some spinach, not much taste but good for you and keeps you pretty full. then for supper i eat someting high in protein and moderate in slow burning carbs. then before bed i drink a isobolic shake or some more egg whites. hope this helps man. let me know if you got any more questions. oh yeah dont know exactly what you mean by balanced but i try to get my calories on the 40-40-20 sometimes 40-45-15 diet between carbs, pro, and fat.
stack up on egg whites, chicken, rye or wheat bread, brown rice, tuna, peanut butter....

What do you eat for an inbetween meal? Just something to keep my motabilism going.
if there is anyother info you can give me please feel free to..I am open to anything..
thanks

between meals i used to eat a chicken breast on wheat bread sandwich, now most of the time for convience i just drink a mrp. my two favorites are vpx micellan or nutrabolics isobolic if you dont want any carbs. for your slow burning carbs just try to remember normally the darker the carb the slower it burns. ex. wheat or rye bread, oatmeal, brown rice. just find a book or something on the internet that has G.I. values in it and eat things that have a low G.I value for slow burning and high G.I. for fast burning like after your workout. another thing is sometimes in the morning i try to eat a few fast burning carbs to mix in with my slow burning ones.
here is a page on carbs and G.I. explanation:
http://www.annecollins.com/gi-value-of-meals.htm
here is a page with a little chart for some ideas of high and low G.I. foods

hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else

Nice $10 an hour is awesome...I was makeing that Landscapeing for a guy then the winter rolled around and had to kinda stop that..Now the summer is up again and i will see if he needs me..But i think i might go take a job at a welding/metal fabrication shop..it will be a cut in pay but i like to weld and build things..the only thing is..It will be hot very hot..usually the summer temps. around here are 95-105F and then being in a shop without air conditioner being in a lether vest welding and cutting metal is gonna get hot fast..LOL....Not sure what i'll do..
P.S. Hook me up Stallion and "accidently" send me one of those boxes full of goodies...

Don't forget to get a bag of sunflower seeds minus the shell. they contain tons of healthy fats and fiber-a must! also, similar to pb in that it helps fill you.
