As you all know b-nat competed this weekend and i gotta say he looked amazing for his first show. the mid-illinois is an awsome contest and im glad he chose it for his first. b-nat, i hope you learned a lot doing this show and i know you proly learned alot back stage as well. talking with other competitors is a great way to improve. i was sitting FRONT ROW untill the break. i got some good jay photage and even a video. but im sad to say after the break we didnt get our seats back(long story) and so i missed getting pics from b-nat's posing routine. we had to sit in the back :( but the whole point of this is to welcome him back and let you all know that he looked amazing. im sure the pics he has will show this.

Well boys, its official, I'm back.

Ahhhh story time. Ya I learned a lot backstage, diff. pump up routines, seein ppl down honey like its nobodies biz. The chit chat, ppl complainin, it was pretty fun. The contest didn't hit me, till I walked through the curtains and stepped on stage for pre-judging, I jus felt I ate too much the night prior and my stomach was in knots, so I lost confidence, oh and the fact that my tan got all jacked, the One Coat bronzer dries way too fast, so I had to toss on dream tan over top of most of it, cuz it looked bad, my face peeled cuz of dry skin, so my tan wasn't holdin up. Oh, and I was shakin, man was I shakin on stage. It was a great experience, lotsa pics, one with the man himself, Mr.O Mr. Jay Cutler, hell ya, it was all worth it. I weighed in at 148 which is like, holy sh** to me, then by the time I ate, and ate, and ate, I weighed in the nex day about midday at 166, lol. Not sure when I'll plan for another comp, but I have some newer ideas to help along the way. Thanks again for all the support.

Well I Look at pictures of my first show and kinda chuckle. YOu will improve some much in the future-that i am sure of. Did you place?

As for your tan-that is why I go with pro tan. Gets deep into the pores, doesnt run, streak etc. Not a fan of dream tan

ya, lol, I was lookin at my pics and everything is dark and nearly invisible, and you can see everyone else in the pics except me, i'm TOO DARK, yes TOO DARk for the camera to show my pic.

I got a tip at the show from the guy that actually won the show. His regimen was to dry out the skin completely, to a near cracking of the skin, near cracking, but not cracked so be careful otherwise posing will suck. So he doesn't use lotions in the tanner or after to re-hydrate the skin, then when he applies his tanning agent it soaks in deep to the skin so the skin can be fully saturated and re-hydrated. He says he simply goes to the spray-on tanner and goes once in the morning and once at night (thursday, if show is friday), then applies his bronzing agent (jan tana) the night before the show. He looked damn good and his tan was perfect and even.

So with that, I would say if you tan in the tanner up to the show, I would stop using lotions at about 2 weeks out and begin going every other day, and the thursday before the show go everyday up until wed or thursday (wed if you apply pro tan or other self applicated tan and thursday if you go get the spray on tan).

my carb up was unreasonable, but it made me feel more relaxed, cuz i got to eat a decent (more of a satisfying meal is the better wording)

i had 2 slices of deep dish pizza, and 1 slice of cheesecake
the day of the show i consumed 1 meso-tech bar every 2-2.5hrs, which was about 2 prior to prejudging, i also had 2 pieces of turkey sausage and 4 slices of rye french toast with a little butter for breakfast, i also had 3 small snickers bars with my 2nd meso-tech bar prior to pre-judging

6am-breakfast
8am-meso-tech bar
10am-mesotech-snickers combo
1p.m. meso-tech bar
4p.m. 1 gargantuan from jimmy johns with a small diet soda
6:30 1 dry serving NO-xplode, it was a freebie, and i don't know why i did it
7:00 meso-tech bar-snickers
9:00p.m. FINALS
