Not your average workout: Tire flipping, jumping, sprints with a jumpstretch band, runs with kettlebells, turkish get ups with kettlebells, medicine ball throwing, kipping pullups, bear crawls, tuck sits on gymnastics rings, barbell thrusters. Real, oldschool, brutal - full body movements.
You'll notice they aren't doing any curls or tricep extensions, no machines, no pussy bodybuilding "watch yourself in the mirror exercises" crap. It takes real world strength to flip tires and do pullups and squats and sprints. Essentially, the actors were training for performance - and the look came with it.

I think this way of training would help you prepare for your fights nem. Chuck has incorporated into his training , it's called cross-pit

Yes, my buddy does it,and they say only about 3X a week ,otherwise your body breaks down to much. I did it for a month, (there were no tires, but everything else we had) If you look back at my cross fit training, you will see a bunch of examples.

Nah, I'm poor. It's getting real close though. I'm almost where I want to be physically. My stand-up is getting back to where it was but I need some more work on jiu jitsu. On a good note though, my buddy went to a local MMA event and said that the guys in my weight class were nowhere near my size. :D Soon though, soon.
