Hey guys, I need to know how often I should take a week off. This has REALLY helped me. I was thinking going 5 weeks strong as hell then the sixth off of training but still keeping my diet up.
how often do you guys take off?
how long do you take off for?

Shortly before Thanksgiving, I busted up my hand. I got a few screws put in 'er, and now she's ready to roll. Point being, for the three weeks after the injury, I couldn't do anything (even legs got the heart beat up, which made the hand throb). I was so jonesin' to lift after those three weeks, even though I could only do legs, I didn't want to stop. Obviously now I am unlimited for workouts, but this winter I sat around (and slept) a ton, and after a month of picking it back up, I am puzzled on how much I have gained.

Well I went about 6 months strong with no break in between except my 1-2 days off. Last time I took off was after my Mass Tabs cycle at the beginning of Feb. I kept gaining in the gym so I never really thought about a week off. It was hard though taking that week off, all I thought about was the gym.

Time off really depends on the individual and the goal of said individual. On average, one week off after 2-3 months of workoing out is a good way to give your body a break and a chance to recover.
