Levrone to make comeback at 2007 Olympia

Kevin has been offered a movie deal on the basis that he pack on 40lbs. He's decided that if he takes the role, that he'll also return to the Olympia in September. Here's a brief background on Kevin Levrone-

IFBB record holder

4 time Olympia runner up

2 time Arnold Classic Champion

1 if not 2 time “shoulda been MR Olympia”

Actor, with movie being released nationally (principal role – not no bodyguard)

VP of Operations of a supplement company , EST

Supports the sport and is advocate for the sport to this day….

Should he rest on his laurels or give it another go?

Well for me I would not pass the role up. As far as the Olympia, if he still has the desire to get up there one more time I say do it. He is already the most wins in the IFBB so their is nothing to risk reputation wise giving it one more shot. Assuming he comes in at that level to compete, the powers that be that may have stopped him from winning before are likely still there. But, the fans would love to see another go I am sure.

Honestly, IMO, his return would likely overshadow some of the other competitors, ragardless if he makes the top 5. I'd love to see this happen.

Levrone is my favorite. I would like to see what kind of transformation he can make in that amount of time. With his sick genetics and unlimited access to anything he wants...it would be interesting! :D :eek:

I remember when I first started looking at bodybuilding mags as a young'n, Levrone, Cutler, and Yates stuck in my mind ever since. You know when you are playing football with your friends as a kid, and as you get the hand-off and call out "Thurman Thomas!!", or as you drop back and throw the pass, yell "Majkowski!!", thats what those names mean to me. I appreciate the respect you are giving Kevin and his carreer, not all the forums have the class -- that DA has....You guys are class... Kevin may be a partner of mine, our spokesperson, close freind,bla, bla..... Bottom line regardless of that he is a role model with great accomplishments... I know he appreciates all of your support no matter what direction he goes! Bodybuilding was his rock and his heart....

What and who is the best ever? Most sports Best Record of all time.... Most "championships of all time" , etc.... Not being biast (lol, maybe I am )... U all be the judge(Solomon posted a abridged version of his resume), who is the best -- at minimum top five best ever.... Freind of mine or not!

why did i just now see this?! i say he goes for it. but of course im the fan speaking, not the torments of what it means to do this. 40 lb in 20weeks WHILE getting cut for contest shape is just beyond my mind. nothing short of human limits.
