OK guys here are some pics I took today. Please give me your thoughts. My cutting is going good, still got 5 weeks till contest time, waiting for that last bit of fat to come off my lower abs and my obliques.
Thanks in advance!

What is it with you and pinky fingers lately?:D
But on a serious note, dalvare, you look ridiculous(in a good way). Keep up the hard work and keep us posted.

Looking good. From here on out every week makes a noticable difference. Legs are looking very semetrical as well. Wish I had that semetry, but I tore my right quad sprinting about 4 years ago....before I ever got real serious lifting weights let alone serious about lifting and eating right. :p

i hope these next few weeks really tighten out the last few areas!

yeah, there is still a bit more fat to lose. Any tips on shedding water?
I am trying to do research on potassium, but everything is so jumbled up and everyone has a different magic formula. I was just thinking of supplementing with potassium caplets the week prior to the competition. I have 99mg pills. I was thinking about taking one with each meal for a few days and seeing how it affects me. any thoughts?

Potassium is rough, you gotta really slam your system with it to notice.. You start the Monday prior by taking in lots of sodium by salting your food, and using soy sauce.. After two days you drop salt completely and load with potassium, this depends on your weight (I have to load with 2400mg daily).. I've tried taking 1-2 tabs with each meal, and never got dry enough.. After the potassium load, Thursday you cut back the dose, and your water intake.. Friday you cut back further on the water so by 8pm or later you shouldn't be drinking..
It changes as you progress, that was just a rough idea of how I started..

Where does one get potassium without carbs in foods?

proly your best source without carbs would be almonds(dry roasted). im sure there are a few others out there.

sure its easier but you dont know how much your body needs. when cutting water and messing with sodium/potassium the amounts you consume mean everything. and just cause you take a potassium pill thats 99mg dosnt mean your body will digest it as 99mg of potassium in its pure form. also my aunt is a pharmacist and she suggested to me that the pills are a bad idea for this.
honestly i have not even found potassium something to worry about for the last week. i cut sodium out the same time i start carb loading. good carbs with low sodium happen to have high potassium. it works out perfect.

lookin good brotha, it feels good to be on the other side though, lookin towards planning for the nex show. Potassium is tricky, I didn't feel dry enough, the cutting off the water is diff for each person. I do agree with MU on the pills though, esp with how your body is trying to digest other things along the way its quite a bit. I took pills though, bein my first show, no tricks for me jus yet, I tried to follow the book with sodium deplete, potassium load, cutting water, its all a shaky subject. Best of luck though man, you look good

you are approaching 4 weeks out, thats great man, hopefully everything is still on track, this is the point where I made an extreme shift in my carb intake, I believe its at this point I had a RTD diet day as well

haha, yeah. the rtd's are a lifesaver. an rtd and sugar free pudding real curb my cravings to cheat. I am keeping a detailed log in my review.
