Theres not even a doubt in my mind that Fedor is the greatest MMA fighter now and in history. Who could beat him? Fedor is a damn machine. You've seen what happened in the Crocop fight. Crocop is very dominant in most fights and he was backing up the entire fight. I dont think anyone other than Crocop would make it out of the first round with Fedor.

true but i think fedor caught him off guard by pressing him the whole fight now he knows and can train for it. look at fedors face and mirkos face after the fight....the little that mirko did was painfull...........
WAR CROCOP!!!

No doubt it was painful, but Fedor has a crazy chin and he's willing to expose himself to get off a few extra shots. Im just not sure Crocop can deal with the accuracy and power of Fedors standup without getting frustrated. Crocop seems to frustrate pretty easily, so if he beats Fedor, I think it'll have to be early by knockout.

The first fight almost didnt even happen because cropcops camp didnt want to go through with it. When it finally did happen crocop couldnt even look fedor in the face when they went over the rules and touched gloves. Fedor 2, Crocop 0. Hes jsut too pwerful and unless crocop can get him mind right, It just wont happen for him against fedor.

im trying to remember who was the black man with the blonde hair that knocked out crocop,,i know he was unpredictable wether he would have his game face on or not,,, did he ever fight fedor, ide like to see chuck against crocop wonder how that would turn out, i think fedor would take chuck on the ground he looks like hes more powerfull there better ground skills...where do you think randy couture would stand in all this ,,hes been knocked out by chuck twice i think

The black gentleman would be named kevin randleman

That 'black guy with blonde hair' was Randleman. I do like Chuck very much, but he wouldnt last very long with Fedor. Fedor would not need to go to the ground, but he probably could if he got in trouble. Fedors striking is nearly perfect with accuracy, power, and speed. Id see him eating Chucks lunch in a hurry.

Well it looks like Fedor may not be going over to UFC, He and his brother are currently going to be fighting for BodogFight April 14th in Russia. Dana White is really trying to get everyone from Pride But that may not be the case negotiations are still be worked out.

I am looking forward to the possible merge. I like any league, company, in the business. But I'd have to say people don't just wake up one day branded "The Iceman". The Chucksta has proven himself time and time again "the guy has cyanide in his hands" I believe I have heard before. This does expand the card options beyond belief though!! daddy likeee

I actually hate this. I hope there's not a huge change. Just some fighters going back and forth between UFC and Pride. If the UFC just flat out takes over it will be bad for the sport and the fighters IMO. As long as there's no huge changes, just huge match-ups, this will turn out ok. Last but not least, I hope they DON'T unify the belts.

True, but Chuck will be looking for the knockout and standing 'only', so I just figure that whoever wins it would do it by knockout. I think Chuck would have a 'chance', but I wont ever bet on anybody winning or going the distance against Fedor.

From what I understand now, Pride will still remain its own organization but will adopt the UFC weight classes and rules Which Dana White says, If its not by those rules its not MMA. I think thats one of the stupid things I've ever heard but at least Pride will remain.

I would definitely like to see them stay as individual organizations, but merge come major card time (both groups on the same card). Each group could use their methods to develop what they think is the ideal fighter for each weight class, then test their superstars against superstars from another group. Which rules to follow is another story. I'm just glad to see this stuff hitting T.V. as well as it has.
