The manager at a GNC told me that Instone changed thier formula and they have been restocking the new formular for 2 weeks. He said it tastes alot worse than it used to. Is this bogus?

It was a very popular product why would they change it?

Doesn't make sense. I am hesitant to beleive GNC people.

i asked another worker (like all of you i take thier words word a grain of salt) and she said they come in larger containers now but she didnt think the forumular changed at all, and either they add more water now or the first containers didnt have the full 20g of protein?

If it tasted the same, that is what I wanted to know.

I don't know if DA shipped the bigger or smaller can type.

What were the different sizes?

Yes but what was the net weight?

That way I can tell if I get the big or small can.

Thanx.

DOn't want to make you go digging through trash bins to fins an old can of pudding to check the net weight.

I can't even REMEMBER my last final at UCLA.

Seems like forever ago.

My cans of pudding have arrived. I noticed that the chocolate seems to get solid when chilled while the vanilla is more watery.

I think I am going to vote for chocolate, but I will have a few more cans to make up mind which flavor tastes best.

Of course we can always just add whey powder protein to jello pudding mix and make our own jello. :)

doesnt pudding need to be boiled though? I'm assuming boiling the whey wastes alot of it

Net Weight

Old Formula: 5.82 oz. (165g)

New Formula: 6.4 oz. (182g)

* Btw - the label inaccuracy had NOTHING to do with water and it is good to see the company making ammends.

Can't you mix in the whey just after boiling the pudding mix???

BTW from the net weights posted I got the new version.

Agreed on the macronutrient breakdown. Although one could argue that the protein sources used in it still make it < 20 grams of "quality."

You can be the judge. I suppose it is better than eating some of the other things on the market.

you mean because of the soy?

HPLC has shown that initial batches should have listed soy before caseinate.
