Alrighty, I have been building up a reserve of supplements so that a week after my contest I can hit the gym and with FORCE!

Supplements:
Xtreme Formulations Ice
Pure Vitargo
MAN Clout
MAN Blue Print
Axis Labs Hypertest

I plan on taking 2 scoops of the Ice after about 45 minutes into my workout, along with 2 scoops in a little PWO Cocktail Containing 50g Vitargo, 2 scoops ICE, 1 Scoop VPX Zero Carb Protein.

The Blue Print will be taken pre-workout along with my 2nd serving of clout.

My first serving of clout will be in the morning upon waking along with the Axi Labs Hypertest (4 caps).

Any modifications, or adjustments are open for discussion.

Training Protocol? Oh you know it will be intense, with a new fire added to my back work. Here's the split I am looking at and it starts with some lower volume and builds from there, this will help give my supplements a run for their money, and help me see if the BCAA's add any added energy or will help fuel the intense need for recovery.

Superset =SSet
* = drop set, by reducing current weight by 25% and continuing to failure for last set of exercise
^ =Rack run so I'll drop the weight 3-4times and maintaining the same amount of reps, and the number of sets could say 3, meaning do the exercise 3 times, not just 3 drop sets and be done with the exercise

Mon
Chest/Abs

-SSet: Cable Crossover/DB Bench Press (or weighted dip)
-Incline DB Bench Press
-Incline DB Flye
-SSet: Hanging Leg Raise/Crunch

-BB Squat

-Tri-Set: Bent-Over DB Raise/DB Lateral Raise/DB Front Raise
-DB Shoulder Press*
-Wide-Grip Cable Upright Row
-DB Lateral Raise^
-SSet: Smith-Machine Back Shrug/ Smith Machine Front Shrug
-SSet: Reverse Crunch/Cable Crunch

Thurs
Back/Calves

Oh ya, it may get ugly, you may recognize this workout or somewhat similar from an older issue of M&F magazine, and why did I get it from there? Well, before I realized M&F had more promo's than articles my mom got me a subscription so I put it to the best use possible. I figured this crazy training style was right up my alley.

Macronutrients will be adjusted as time progresses, mainly in the addition of more carbs and fats (of the healthy variety, such as almonds, flax, coconut oil) to help with support the increase in weight. I am currently estimating I will weigh around 165-170lbs after my contest. So 2951 / 165 = 17.88 x bw or 2855 / 170 = 17.36 x bw. The estimation is to add lean body mass to multiply your body weight by 20-22 to find your total caloric intake. My body has been in a negative caloric balance for 13 weeks and should adjust well to the proposed diet that has a decent ratio of protein and carbs along with a low amount of fat. It is also stated that a diet low in fat (<15% of total caloric intake) has been shown to reduce serum testosterone levels and a diet with a range of 20-30% of total caloric intake has shown a support or increase in serum testosterone levels. My current intake will be 22.87% of my total caloric intake.

looks good. My ONLY problem is your back work. I feel like since I have had pretty good development in that area I can give you some pointers:

Start with WIDE pulldowns, go until you cant do anymore, then do negatives(jumping up and letting yourself down slow) then do partials, and then just hang there. Make that one long gruelling set that feels like its going to tear you apart.

Do 3 sets like that.

Then go to Pulldowns, 3 Sets Supersetting Overhand and Underhand.

Then Do Cable rows and Shrugs. 3 sets each, both on smith machine.

Thats my whole back routine, give it a try for a while and see if it gives you the kind of results you are looking for. I see its a little higher volume than your other workouts, but IMO the back needs a lot of work because there are so many different muscles that need to be worked.
-----------------------------------------------------
But overall I think this looks like a great program:
good training, good diet, and an awesome stack to pull it all together.

Looks like youve done yor homework yet again. One question though. What kind of eggs do you eat. I noticed that two whole eggs only had a combined total of 8 grams of fat. that seemed kinda low to me but maybe im wrong or have been using the crappy stuff:D .

B-natural
March 23rd, 2007, 05:26 AM
I found that 3 whole eggs upsets my stomach, and I seemed to be gaining fat with a higher fat diet, granted I wasn't eating like I should before, and this is only the start, things will be added and switched around, plus I will be adding in healthy fats as stated below the diet.

And thnx dalvare, I'll keep that in mind, this is just somethin pretty close to the workout in the magazine, and I was thinkin after I typed it up that I would rather do pullups, but I'll be sure to keep updates

Diet is looking well thought out and training looks good even though its not my type of style (obviously works great for you though!). I already have my diet down for after the show as well and my macro ratios are almost identical to yours and the food choices close too! Nice work man.

This is what I'm looking at:
non-weight days: 3,500 cals, 360p/ 300c/ 95f
weight days: 4,200 cals, 415p/ 410c/ 100f (just adding a during/ post w-o shake)

Some minor changes:

Blue Print taken in morning with/after breakfast <parameters given by dinoiii (more of a suggestion for those trying to gain mass)

Peri-Workout/PWO Cocktail:
I may take 2 servings of ICE 2hrs prior to workout, dependent on a little more reading, but will stick with 2 scoops peri-workout, and 2 scoops PWO with Vitargo, 1 Scoop VPX Protein, and possibly 1 serving of clout

Tribulus will be an addition, that will be taken at nighttime before bed, 1-625mg pill

Some changes may be made to the exercises in my workout, dependent upon the usage of the machines

B-natural
April 5th, 2007, 01:53 PM
So here's the update and finalization:

Meal 1
Blue Print

Meal 2
ACES
B-complex
Tribulus 625

Meal 3
Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc

Meal 4-Pre-workout
Clout
ICE (possibly)

Meal 5-PWO
Pure Vitargo
ICE

Meal 6
Clout
Vitamin C

Bedtime
Hypertest
Glutamine

Dinoiii, if you see any issues with the supp.s or their placement, plz chime in

Diet changes to be noted, I will be consuming less calories on non-workout days, specifically by not consuming the during workout shake as well as the PWO shake, which will take out 30-40g of protein and 60-70g carbs, which is around 300-400kcal. I may also start out with a lower caloric intake at first, this is dependent upon how my body reacts to the reformulated diet

Alrighty, enough of this BS, time to hit up the training, feelin sloppy so I gotta get rollin. I need some advice on whether or not to use my ICE on non-weight training days, I've heard mixed reviews.

The dosing as of right now will be 6 scoops or 3 servings, 2 prior to workout in my pre-workout meal with my clout and preworkout meal, roughly 2-2.5hrs before my workout, and 4 towards the end with my vitargo and scoop of VPX whey. I may add in some lifts to my workout, possibly a few tri exercises jus to feel a little more pumped. The eating will be somewhat following the diet tomorrow, but with easter dinner it will be thrown a little.

Finally, back in action.

Oh, and the current weight is 177lbs, I figure the scale was a little generous so I was more like 150-151, but thats still quite a large weight gain. We'll see what clout and blue print have to offer.

Well, for the 1st workout back, it went okay, I wasn't impressed, nor did I think I was gonna be, with any of my lifts. I got an amazing pump though felt really full, the lil drink that I have towards the end of my workout messed with my stomach though, hopefully my body will adapt to it. The workout was a little short so I added 2 sets of dips, and 3 sets of skullcrusher/closegrip presses, felt good, hopefully my lifts will be back to normal soon.

Well, still feelin a little weak, but my back day went well. ya ya I know it was sposed to be legs, but ya gotta work whatcha feel sometimes. My diet was somewhat on today, I ate a half a pizza sub, and some caramel corn a little bit ago. Gotta stay away from the cravings, its tough when its there though, and i'm still waitin for this damn water to go down, after every meal I bloat up.

The clout seems to absorb quick, I get a tingly feeling under my skin after I take it.

I took my blue print prior to breakfast this morning and felt a little light headed, pry the hypoglycemic effect happenin there, it wasn't unbearable, jus a lil light headed. I am staying vascular, and actually see a slight increase in vascularity through my forearms, hopefully when this water goes down, my focus will dial in and more will show.

The ICE and Vitargo combo is a lil chalky and not the most flavorful, its very dense, but its bearable, and I feel like my muscles fill right up after I consume the drink which is an extreme plus.

The drop sets I planned will be changing slightly once the sets get beyond 4, I may just add in another exercise and perform a drop set with that as well to compensate, otherwise my body will begin to breakdown, 3 sets all with drop sets is rough as it is.

bswoll
April 9th, 2007, 09:24 PM
don't worry b-nat i'm sure the water will go away by the end of the week. how many days a week are you planning on resting?

B-natural
April 10th, 2007, 08:02 AM
2 days of rest, I hate feelin weak, and with work its hard to squeeze in 5days of working out, but it must be done.

And ya, hopefully it (the water) clears by the end of this week

jw25558
April 10th, 2007, 10:35 AM
What do you think is causing the water retention?

B-natural
April 10th, 2007, 12:24 PM
Sodium Depletion prior to contest

Using a water cutting agent

I may also be filling out and my body is refilling my glycogen stores after a massive 13week slow depletion.

A combo of the above is the problem, but I am lookin a little swole lately, with my shirt on its comfortable, with it off, all I see is the bloat

MUbodbuilder

give it some time b-nat ul even out. as i said before going back to the contest diet will really help with it. then slowly add in good carbs. the sudden jump in carbs and calories makes it very hard for your body to lose the bloat and can even make it last a long long time.

B-natural
April 11th, 2007, 11:35 AM
I'm noticing this, but I will push forward. Anyone have tips as to whether or not amino acid supplementation is essential on nonworkout days, I'm contemplating taking a few scoops.

MUbodbuilder
April 11th, 2007, 12:04 PM
id take it all the time. in the off days you are still recovering as much as any other day.

B-natural
April 12th, 2007, 07:52 AM
Ya, I'm still kinda iffy on the BCAA thing

B-natural
April 13th, 2007, 08:34 PM
Today went well, a little Biceps/Triceps day never hurt anybody. I felt fairly strong today, it feels like I am about to blow up in the weights though, expecting big jumps in the future.

Supplement Judgments:

MAN Blue Print- I would have to run this solo to know its full effectiveness. However, I do seem to get vascular during my workouts. This is a rare occurence for me, and I am also much more calm these days, I do not wanna snap on ppl, esp. when I'm driving, its the worst.

Xtreme Formulations ICE- again, with BCAA's its hard to say, they are more readily available to work in the system and be uptaken and used faster, but is it really worth the extra buck? I'm supposed to have faster recovery, maybe not right away, because although I do feel I could hit bi's tris tomorrow, I always feel this way because I enjoy working out.

Pure Vitargo- Great supplement, I feel that my muscles fill up with each sip, def. recommend this to anyone, on cycle, it would be a sick combo with superdrol (the pumps coupled with muscle saturation) would be ridiculous.

MAN Clout- I am feeling stronger, I feel the strange tingle, I feel like my muscles have been absorbing this like candy, in a good way, my muscles look very full, which I attribute to this and the Vitargo. Definitely see great things with this in the future.

It's only the end of week 1, only God has the ability to create a masterpiece in a faster time. So with that, I wait, but patiently, yet very anxious to start week 2.

Oh and 24 days until it all breaks loose...it's coming...be prepared...

Some continued notes on the supp.s

Pure Vitargo- again, great prod and will continue to be a staple in my pwo regimen, fullness in muscles has increased

Clout- I am gettin stronger I feel it, the pre-exhaustion may not have been the best option to show my increased strength, but it is in fact increasing, and is helping with fullness

Blue Print- I believe this is helping bring out a noticeable increase in vascularity, which I noticed today, great product. And again, for some reason I feel my stress is down, not sure if it is this product, but I am quite calm lately, its weird.

ICE- still not sure on this one, my soreness and recovery ability is were it always was, hopefully this one will shine soon

Felt weak today, this pre-exhaustion is gettin to me, not sure if I should stick with this or move on, although my weights are going up, I feel that with having to follow a regimen like this I need to keep similar lifts. I will be deciding on whether or not to continue or change it up a little. I think next week I'll bring a mass move as my first move, then move on to supersets, but not in the pre-exhaustive method. this will help in the transition from my current regimen into the regimen that will follow. and I will not be doing the 6 sets as I setup, it does nothing for my planned progression into my training program that follows this.

Just as a side note I have currently ran out of Hypertest, dammit.

Overall Eval: Hypertest was the best natural testosterone booster I have taken, great strength, great libido boost, great product! :D

Now its deciding Hypertest or Massfx for my upcoming pct.....hmmmmmm.........

Back workout sucked, at least thats how it felt, tried rack deads today, felt it purely in low back, set pins just below knees, not sure if that was correct. The multi-grip rower (looks like fixed bar with diff grips) was messed up, i realized i was nearly standing up doing them last week, so i tried to stand on the blocks, that felt like i had to lean touch much to keep stability. I was f-in pissed.

I couldnt find the other dang post about you ordering up the white flood.....anyways, just wanted to tell ya what I thought.

Hour pre-workout: 60p/60c/15f
20min pre-w/o: two scoops white flood (basically took white flood, then did my business in the bathroom and drove to the gym)

Got there and hopped on the stationary bike to warm up. Didnt really feel much, but then I looked down and I am pedaling at twice the speed I normally do for warm up and my 5 min. was already surpassed. So I was zoned and focused. Around this time I could feel some warmth and slight tingle (from beta alanine I presume).

Workout was great. I was so focused, also felt a mild euphoric type buzz...felt nice. I was really zoned in though and just took very minimal rest periods. Pumps were okay, but I noticed the zoned feeling the most. Oh, and I have 4.5 hours sleep last night :p

Good call MU.
Thnx for the advice Ryno, got mine in yesterday

I've been running everything out lately, startin to feel empty nest syndrome, except for this is kind of my "brown package" week, where the UPS guy and I become buds, I usually order at certain times of the month and love a slew of packages, so I think this week i have 4-5 coming, and have had some random ones come in here n there, still lookin forward to opening my methyl-e package :D real excited to add that to my stock. So its kind of an out with the old in with the new.

I have 1 day left of the Blue print, and supposed to have 6 days with Clout, but the jar is lookin slim. I have sample packets of other things to get me through, and some bulk beta-alanine to add to em :D

Today will be legs/calves

Well, the FREAK CYCLE is gonna begin tomorrow, so this cycle will be coming to a close.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:
Blue Print~ A
Why? I felt the effects of its ingredients on the first day. I didn't eat and the R-ALA kicked in and made me a little lightheaded. The agmatine kept me vascular throughout its use, and I know this, because my vascularity has gone down since.

Clout~ A-
My strength is still on the rise, not sure if I would attribute it to this or the fact that my weight was increasing. The taste is also a little on the bad side, but hey, I didn't plan on buying hawaiian punch, i wanted a good supplement and thats what I got. The effects are better 28days and beyond, so the grade may rise.

Hypertest~ A
Definitely had a boost in libido, and was helping with some lean mass. Again with the things similar to clout, my weight increase may have caused an increase in strength. However, this was seeming to cause my weight increase while on my cut.

ICE~ C
I am still not noticing an increase in energy through my workouts, nor an increase in recovery. The price is decent for the amount of servings, however it was still costly for the benefits I have yet to see.
