JW's Bad to the Bone Phera Vol/Methyl Cycle
I've decided to do my first log here on the DA forum. As you all know, I'm a data and statistical freak so there will be extreme details:D
Before I get to the details of what I'll be using, I just want to say that I am not a doctor so that anything in this log that you use will be at your own risk. Posts are suggestions/opinions only. Consult your doctor before use of any supplement or before beginning any training routine. Always research PH sides and have supporting supplements and pct for them.

The reason I am throwing in the Trenadrol at the beginning of the cycle is for the instant strength and hopefully to help lean out a little of this potato chip belly I have put on in the last month. I actually started this cycle on Tuesday so I am a little behind on the log. Later in the day, I'll post some pictures and give some updates to what I've done thus far. If anyone has any suggestions or anything I need to add to the log, please let me know. PM's are always welcome as well!

Ok dude, this is my biggest problem with this. I think you would be overspending for that pct. You don't really need two test boosters bro.

I was kinda thinking that myself. That is why i put that it may change later. I think I'll go ahead and scrap the hyper test on this one.

I would scrap the MFX just because of the cost. That and you get free CEE with the hypertest :D lol I would love to use MFX in a pct but the price makes me think it won't be happening anytime soon.

Agree; likely only need the Mass Fx or HyperTest vs. both. Again, I personally recommend anti-cort products 2 weeks post cycle. I went in depth in PCT - more layman's here, did more a molecular analysis over at AX with the Retain product, but the basic rules are the same and it will all save you money in the long run. I would too invest in a nice (rather cheap too) I3C product and dose at about 400mg/day MINIMUM.

Maybe, if you were to eat a bushell or something, though I wouldn't encourage it. ;) I suppose you could put on mass for sure though!!!
But really - the concentrations varies per bunch or crown, it would be very to offer guesstimation or wager on what that would be. This is one that I would supplement (standard cheap ones can be found).

Lol, gotcha. Thanks for the reply. Also JW, You might want to consider splitting week 3 between Trenadrol and Trenaplex. IE:
Week 3:
Monday - Trenadrol
Tuesday - Trenadrol
Wednesday -Trenadrol
Thursday - Trenaplex
Friday - Trenaplex
Saturday Trenaplex
I don't see taking 4 phs in one day being good for you in any way shape or form.

Before I post my pics, I want to say a few quick "Thanks Yous" and share with you where I started bodybuilding. This is where I started in March 23, 2006. My stats at the time are as follows:

Dinoiii, Thanks for the advice on the I3C. It has been added to the pct. Well, I've been on cycle since Tuesday now and as a tradition, I always take measurements on Sunday;) Here are the results:
Arm 15"
Forearm 12 1/4
Wrist 7 1/4
Chest 47 3/3
Shoulders 49
Stomach 34 1/4 - Down a little bit:D
Waist 34 5/8

Calf 15 5/8

I'm up on everything all the way across the board. So far, I really like the addition of Trenadrol to the phera vol. As far as sides go, I have very mild morning legarthy, which goes away after a monster energy drink and no back pumps woohoo!!! I do have one VERY ANNOYING!! side effect. Instead of back pumps, I have leg pumps (if there is a such think LOL) My upper legs feel really tight and ache a little, just like the feeling of back pumps. Hopefully it goes away. If you guys have any suggestions, please shoot them at me.

I want to share my workout plan with everyone. I know this is not a common routine, but it has always gave me good results with bulk cycles. I do a full body workout, 3 days a week, and hit most body parts with 3 different types of movement.
Midrange Movement: To warm up the muscle and for moving maximum poundage.
Stretch Movement: To jolt muscle fibers out of reserve with the myotatic reflex.
Contracted Movement: To finish off the target bodypart with full range resistance.
This is a sample workout for me. I change it around if I need to focus on a certain muscle or plateau on a certain exercise. I'm currently giving the upper chest priority to the lower chest.
Incline Bench Press
Incline Cable Flies
Flat Bench Press
Squats
Leg Extensions
Leg Curl
Donkey Calf Raises
Lat Rows (for midback)
Pullover Machine (works both stretch and contracted position of the lats)
Military Press
Barbell Shrug
Rope Tricep Press
Barbell Curl
Reverse Curls
I know this is not common either, but when I am bulking, I do a 3 sets of 5 repetitions progressive workout. My gym schedule looks like this
Sunday: Measurements and max day
Monday: Off
Tuesday: Workout
Wednesday: Abs + 15min mild Elliptical
Thursday: Workout
Friday: Abs + 15 min mild Elliptical
Saturday: Workout

I hear ya bro, I wish I would have started when I was still in High School (not using ph's of course;) ) I've had an incredible year to say the least. I hope with this cycle to push on up to 200lbs. The best advice I can give to anyone wishing to bulk up is the same advice my Dad gave to me. Never trade quality for quantity. Just a single set of controlled, full reps is better than 10 sets of sloppy ones. We'll guess its time to go to the gym. Wish me Luck!

I can definitely understand what voodoo was saying about the trenadrol. You just cant seem to get enough water with this stuff. LOL I must say that with the combo that the strength gains are insane. Body weight is going up slowly. I am at 188 now but I am gradually losing body fat at the same time woohoo!! As good as I'm doing with the phera-tren combo, I cant wait to start methyl vol/trenaplex.

I think phera-tren is going to be your 'meal-ticket' on this stack. Once you hit the vol/tplex, I think you will be a little disappointed compared to what you got with the first half of your stack. Just push yourself in the gym and expect to have your max feel light the next week. lol

Just checked my weight and am happily up another 3lbs(whats solomon putting in this stuff anyway hehe) Here are todays measurements:
Arm 15 3/16"
Forearm 12 3/8
Wrist 7 1/4
Chest 47 1/2

Waist 34 3/4
Thigh 25 1/2
Calf 15 3/4
Neck 15 5/8
Body Weight 190lbs for a total of a 6lb weight gain so far.
I am really hoping to keep the 3lbs a week going so I can reach my goal of 200lbs. I really think its going to happen. So far side effects are next to nothing and strength is through the roof. Since this isn't an official test log or anything, I've only been updating twice a week. If anybody has any questions or suggestions about this cycle, please let me know.

i heard tren at 90 is pretty rough dude! let us know what you decide and if you do bump it up, let us know about the sides.

I've heard the same thing. At 60mg of trenadrol and 2 caps of phera vol, the side are basically non-existent. I think voodoo may have used 90 in his hulk cycle. Hopefully he will chime in on this one.

I've used 90 and it was ALONE. Voodoo isn't a good basis for comparison for people on this thread because of his size/genetics, Dude, don't expect sides so soon, you're barely into this. Give it time, and trust me on the 60mg tren, if you go to 90, check your bp three times a day and make damn sure you're taking hawthorne/celery/coq10.

Also, 6 pounds is damn good for 2 weeks on phera/tren. Check out the prop/phera logs dude, 8 pounds in a cycle, you're doing great.

Good point. I dont have any reason to ask for more than 3lbs a week. As far as sides, I feel totally normal which is unbelievable because the time I used phera plex the sides were awful. For now, I'll stick to the 60mg and enjoy the fact I dont have any sides.

I will officially have 2 weeks in tomorrow. I checked my blood pressure today and it 130/74 with a pulse of 80. All I can say is that I am a true believer of supporting supplements. Just for a recap of my supporting supps, I'm using same, hawthorne, pro liver, and fish oil. As always, I'm looking forward to gym day tomorrow.

Since I got a little extra time, I'm going to go ahead and give my 2 cents worth on the Trenadrol with Dinoiii 5 star rating system.
Strength ***** - Believe me or not but you can feel this stuff working with just the first dose. I was adding 5lbs to almost everything and every workout for the 2 1/2 weeks I was on it. I actually contribute 75% of the immediate strength gains to the trenadrol.
Side Effects * - I had almost none. I had those really weird leg pumps in the beginning of my cycle. It felt just like back pumps but it was in my legs. It went away after about 1 week. You also have some freaky dreams while on this stuff. I thought I was the only one until I started reading other posts.
Mass Gaining Effects **** - I give it a 4 because this IMO is a lean mass generator. I have gained 9 lbs so far but I contribute the larger majority of the mass gains to the phera vol. I speculate to say that you would gain 6-9 pounds of lean mass using this as a solo while losing body fat at the same time.
Blood Pressure * - It is the same as when I started. I have used proper supporting supps all the way through, which in my opinion is not optional with any prohoromone. I highly recommend that anyone wanting to use a ph to first read through dinoiii's pct articles.
Appetite *** - It was really neutral, which is why I gave it a 3. It was always there but it wasnt raging like it would be with bold.
Stack-ability***** - I give it 5 because it is the best addition I have ever made to a methyl stack. With different methyls, you can expect them to take full effect in 3-14 days. With trenadrol, I got instant ratification. It also tends to counter the "wetness" of the phera vol. I think it would be a good addition to most wet ph's.
Overall ***** - All things considered, it is well deserving of a 5 star rating. I speculate to say that I would have been fine running it the whole way through my cycle but I really wanted to try both the trenadrol and trenaplex mainly to get a better understanding of both compounds. If anyone has any questions at all about the trenadrol or any part of my cycle, let me know.

Per Keith's suggestion, I'll be adding EST Test Drive to this cycle once it arrives. That was an angle that I missed when planning this so thanks again Keith for the great idea. BTW, I'll have some mid cycle pics very soon.

Your experience with the Tren was just like mine bro. I ran solo and got 6 pounds. Glad you're making good progress. Keep it up.

Thanks Nemesis! I appreciate the support. It looks like I had another 3lb week! This is by far the best cycle I have ever run. If I can keep up this kind of progress, I should finish up at 202 - 205lbs which will make JW very happy:D The addition of the methyl vol has been great. I have had a wicked appetite since I have been using it, which was an unexpected but great side effect! The good ole back pumps tried to slip up on me but upped the taurine a little and got that taken care of. Here are todays measurements;
Arm 15 3/8"
Forearm 12 7/16
Wrist 7 1/4
Chest 48 1/4 (3/4" in one week:eek: )
Shoulders 50"
Stomach 34 1/4
Waist 35
Thigh 25 3/4
Calf 15 7/8
Neck 15 3/4
Body Weight 193 - for another 3lb gain
Total Weight Gain = 9lbs
Tuesday will officially start week 4. The dosing schedule will look like this
Methyl Vol 1 cap morning, 1 cap 10 hours later
Trenaplex 1 cap morning, 2 caps 10 hours later
EST Test Drive will start as soon as I receive it.

Since I have started the methyl vol, I feel like I have shut down some. The morning legarthy on a scale of 1-10 would be about a 5 and libido is down a little.
The trenadrol is awesome. The aggression is there in the gym but it didnt effect me at all outside the gym with my mood, etc. The feeling it gave me was actually a good feeling. I had good pumps even outside of the gym. As far as side effects, the dreams were the only ones:o I didnt have nightmares like most but I basically had dreams every single night, which I typically never have dreams off cycle. The trenadrol was definitely a complement to the cycle and IMO would be a compliment to most, if not all cycles.

Tried the EST test drive before (obviously) and it did help with the libido for the first couple weeks. Vol was a real killer for my libido.
Just looked on page one of the pre-pics. Definately filling out.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the encouragement. Just a dosage update. At the beginning of this cycle, I had planned to bump the methyl Vol to 30mg but as long as I keep gaining 3lbs a week (or even 2) I think I;m just going to leave it at 20 to prevent anymore sides. As far as sides go
Back Pumps: Very mild and seldom. Just when I'm doing a lot of lifting at work
Headaches: Mild, usually in the mornings
Legarthy: Almost none
Now a look at the positives

Since Wednesday was officially my last day of Phera Vol, I thought I would give a full review.
Side Effects * - To be honest, I didnt have any with this ph, which is a big plus!
Strength Gains **** - Strength gains went up literally with every workout. I contribute at least 60% of the initial strength gains to the trenadrol though.
Bulking ***** - This is a semi wet compound. I would say probably a 6 out of 10 on wetness, which makes it great for bulking up. I gained 9lbs in just 3 weeks of which I contribute 75% of this to the phera vol.
Libido ***** - Roaring:D
Overall ***** - A good solid product well deserving of a 5 start rating. I think this would be a great beginner ph due to the low side effects(for me anyway) but at the same time, The more experienced user can use it as well with great gains in strength and size. For me, the phera and trenadrol was an unbeatable combo. The bulking effecs of the phera and the strength, dryness of the trenadrol was perfectly synergistic. If anybody has any questions or anything that I didnt cover, just let me know.

Done my measure and weigh in today and up another 3lbs to 196lbs. My measurements didnt go up very much this week though...so what ever I'll still take the 3lbs;)

Experienced ph users, this has been an awesome cycle. I have had great size gains as you can see by the measurements and incredible strength gains. I dont know how Kilosports and EST does it but keep up the good work!
Since this cycle will be over in 2 weeks and 3 days(I think I'm gonna cry:( ) I am going to switch up my training a little bit and work on some of my problem areas. My primary concern is building up the upper chest. I;m going to take most, if not all of the focus off the mid and lower chest and blast away with incline presses, cable, and dumbell exercises. Second is my biceps, though they are getting larger, they are beginning to look like a flat tire so I am going to work on peaking them with some concentration type exercises. Any and all suggestions are welcome and if you see any other weak areas in my pictures, feel free to bash away;)

I've been off of the phera for a full week now. I estimate that I have lost 2-3lbs of water weight. I know that sounds crazy but I have made a ton of trips to the br. It is actually a good thing though becuase I am showing a little more definition. For my chest, I have gave full focus to building the upper pecs and have made good progress. I'll have an updated pic and measurements Sunday.

I dont feel like Im getting anything from the 20mg of methyl vol and the 50mg of trenaplex. No sides, no gains, nothing. I got 12 days of this cycle left that I would like to make the very best of. These are some ideas I have
1 Bump the methyl vol up 30mg and the trenaplex to 75mg.
2 Leave the methyl vol at 20, the trenaplex at 50 and add in some bold for the next 12 days.
3 Leave well enough alone and just finish out the cycle with what I'm doing.
I am open to any and all other suggestions as well. Thanks guys!

Hmm, seems as if TRenadrol is better than Trenaplex. Interesting, go with option 1 or 3. Leaning towards 3. But hell if you're getting no sides might as well bump up the dosages. Just be sure to keep checkin the BP and keep liver support going.

Keep the Methyl-Vol at 30mg and use it throughout the rest of the cycle at 30mg. IMO, I would probably increase the Trenaplex as well, but I 'd so cautiously as to not potentiate any prolactin increases.

Good point solomon, I didnt think about a prolactin increase. My wife definitely wouldnt like that:D Do you think there would be any problems with discontinuing the trenaplex and going back to the trenadrol at a dose of 2 caps per day with the 30mg of methyl vol?

I got a 1000 views on my thread:D :D Thanks for following guys. I really appreciate it. I'm going to change things up a bit for the next 12 days. I hope I am not stepping on any toes here but I dont feel trenaplex has done a thing for me. I may just be a non-responder or it may take longer to get in the system to be effective. Starting today, I'm going back on Trenadrol at 2 caps per day and 3 caps of methyl vol. Trenaplex will be discontinued from this cycle. More pictures will be posted tomorrow.

Its my opinion that Trenaplex has a better synergy with prohormones and not prosteroids. IMO, it would probably be more effective with Bold, 1-AD, etc.... BTW, I think it would be a good addition to Methyl E as well.

Well, I liked it for libido and strength. It also helped to keep the cycle balanced. Granted its been a while since I last used it, but I've only positive things to say about the compound.

The changes I have made with this cycle has got me back on track. Even at 30mg of methyl vol and 2 caps of trenadrol I am not having any sides to speak of. Weight is up another lb to 198. It looks like I am going to make my goal of 200. Here is an updated pic to show mostly arm and upper chest progress.

Since I have increased the dose on the methyl vol, my strength has continued to increase and measurements have went up all across the board. My body weight though has only increased 1lb. I cant figure that out:confused:

I officially have 4 days left on cycle and then comes pct. My goal was to really reach 200lbs body weight with this one but I cant complain about what I have accomplished. figure that I could push it during pct and reach 200lbs but I dont want to risk putting on ANY more fat. If fact, I would love to lean down a little during pct. Currently pct is looking like this:

Retain instead of Reduce XT could help lose a little bit on PCT. I used Leviathan during PCT and lost a good 10 pounds and didn't lose strength. But I'm one of the few who could pull that off. :D Oh and I believe the Reduce XT should be started at around week 2.5 of PCT.

Bulk Beta-alanine is cheaper but Incarnate does provide 4g a day and it also has cissus. Your choice. Leviathan I would wait a bit longer since you'd be coming off of Mass FX. Give yourself a rest.

Just a quick update. I finished the ph side of my cycle today and now on to pct. I finished at 198lbs from 184, so I had a wonderful 14lb gain from this cycle with massive strength increases and almost no side effects. I would have been 200lbs by now but tragedy struck Monday. I had a filling drop out of a tooth and while it dropped out I bit down on it unknowingly and broke one o the sides off the tooth. The dentist was able to fix it but it is still very sore on that entire side of my mouth which has drastically effected my diet.

Guys I need some advice im gonna start a halo\winny cycle to get cut up and reduce my bodyfat. Im 22 6'0 195. Ok long story short last year I broke my arm over the summer stayed home depressed all that good, my weight shot up 285. After my arm recovred started working then started lifting again i weight about 250 then I stareted e.c.a. stack lost about 30 pounds off of that. Then took 2 bottles of the burn by fiztogen and lost all together about 25 pounds off of that. Im currently on liop-6 and protein to get cut but im losing alot muscle cause ive added cardio last 2 month at least 5 miles a day of cardio then I lift. Im starting to notice im getting more food cravings like crazy.... Ill do good on day with my diet until dinner and before bed is where I **** up at. And lipo-6 is helping but isnt surpressing my cravings. But yea anyways this month in may im gonna start my cycle with halo\winny and pct im gonna be using rebound reloaded or xtreme pct stack not sure on that. But yea my eating habits are good just Im not eating enough or whats up.
I need some advice on some good pre post workout supplaments. And workout routines and diets. Ive got the desire and heart just need the direction. Thx guys for hearing me out

So far pct is going great! I decided to throw mass fx in there really thinking I wasnt going to get much or anything out of it but I must say that I have been impressed. My vascularity has improved greatly, my workouts are still strong, and I am aggressive as ever. I must say it is an excellent product.
I've switched my workout routine around a bit. It is based part on my original routine and partly on voodoo's train until you cant move technique:D
Day 1 Chest, Abs
Day 2 Back, Shoulders
Day 3 Legs (Quads, Hams, Calves)
Day 4 Arms, Abs
Day 5 Rest
Rinse, Repeat (I stole that one from voodoo too:o )
I'm basically doing 3 movements for each body part as before which are
Midrange to warm up the target muscle and move maximum poundage
Stretch movement to recruit muscle fibers
Contracted movement for full range resistance.
I'll list my workouts for this week in just a few minutes

Damn man... You know the secret to chest (keeping incline/decline/flat somewhat close to the same weight) a lot of people have a BIG bench and no incline.

Definitely. I also give the upper chest priority in my working it out first before moving on to the mid and lowers.

Way to be. I have seperate days for each, but I try to work chest 2 times a week as well. Lookin good though bro, how you likin things so far?

Thanks RA, Training the uppers and lowers on separate days is a good idea. I will definitely have to try that. If you notice my pictures at the beginning of my log, my check looks kinda like a flat tire:o Reason being is I didnt train my upper chest until this cycle so I had a lot of catching up to do. Overall, I have really liked this cycle. The tren and phera was awesome. I didnt gain what I thought I should have from methyl vol but I guess I just dont respond well to it. I feel almost as good on PCT as I did my cycle. Mass FX is really the trick for pct. I wish I would have listened to you and used hyperdrol X2 as well but it will be in the next cycle for sure;)

do you do any incline db , i usually do 3 sets with db before barbell; try rotating db as you go up so at the top they are paralell with your body.
Also do you do incline db flies or just cables

I usually do cables because of the full range resistance it provides. You get the stretch in the beginning of the movement and the full range contraction at the end where I would normally have to do db flies and pec dec flies to get the same benefit. It saves me a little time in the gym;)

Meh... BAM is supposedly a tad estrogenic and supposedly all sorts of bad for me during PCT... I am at that point in life, where although I understand this, I feel rebelious in the sense that I would like to run it because I have it, despite advice.... I feel like a hipocrit now :p LOL!

Oh yea. I'll feel it in the morning:D LOL This workout routine was just an experiment but it has really paid off for me. I'm 15 days into pct and have put on 5lbs. Its too early to tell how the arm routine is going to work because I just got into the full extent of it today but I do notice significant gain in my shoulders. So stay tuned bro, It's going to be a wild ride:D

Not too much to report in measurements. They are basically the same as last week but I am up 1lb. My current weight is 201, which is a 4lb gain in pct. I normally lose 4lbs:o LOL PCT is going great. Tomorrow is chest day. I have to be out of town tomorrow but I'm going to do everything possible to get back in time to do it.

awesome log man, i don't post much on this forum but i do all the time on *******. this has definetly been one of the most well put together logs i have read (on any forum). Awesome results off of this cycle, i am starting a PV + MV cycle on monday (without the tren but for 7 weeks). Hopefully i will have similar results as you did. i will definetly have to start a log myself.

Yesterday was Chest day. I was on the road from 6:00am until 7:30pm yesterday which really made my workout suffer:( I really should have took the day off and picked it up today but here are the numbers
Chest 5-7
Incline Bench Press

Since I have just a few days of pct left, I'm going to go ahead and do my final review of this stack. I'm going to use the ole Dinoiii 5 star rating system.
Strength: ***** Very impressive strength gains from methyl vol and especially trenadrol. I was able to increase my max on my squats by 35lbs and bench press by 25lbs.
Side Effects: * Well, it was much easier to piss me off while I was on this:D I got the occasional back pump, which I was able to counter with taurine. I also got the funky dreams from trenadrol.
Mass: ***** This cycle was as good as my first as far as mass was concerned. I gained a total of 19lbs which far exceeded my expectations.
Blood Pressure: * I had no issues with blood pressure. I contribute this to the supporting supps I was using.
Appetite *** I had the necessary appetite to get the cals in but I didnt have a roaring appetite like you would on say bold.
Overall ***** I would definitely do it again. It was an excellent cycle. I went from 184lbs to 203lbs and lost approx 1% bodyfat while doing so.
