I read in last months M & F magazines that WORMS contain 10 mg of protein per worm. You can fry them in a non stick pan.
Only for the hardcore types out there.
Still that is pretty high protein for a worm.

i hope you are kidding...i dont think eating 100 worms to get 1 g of protein would be considered "high"

Sorry I meant 10 grams per worm, not milligrams. Mistyped

i remember seeing something on tv years ago about a store that made food from worms and ants and insects and things. they were talking about how it had a lot of protein. they had things like chocolate covered ants and things like this.

Some worms are bigger than others... Before you go digging up your backyard, I would assess the protein count of the worms found in your state. I would imagine I'm missing out living in this colder climate.

You don't sell canned worms?
Well if you run out of protein powder they said you can roll them in cornstarch and a bit of PAM and fry em up.
Any volunteers for this trial?

We are now officially requesting a review on high protein diet via worms.
If the review holds effective, we could possibly convince Rodney to can up some worms for us. With all that rain up in B.C., I bet the worms are HUGE!

This seems to be very simple: digging is the workout, when you're done, and found worms that's the protein intake after a good excercise...
This is however the ultra natural body building. Tested on amimals!!!
Look at the birds! How big they are... Billions of birds can't go wrong!

Maybe there is a market for highly refined ion exchanged worm protein powder.

Silkworms have probably the highest protein percentage, from what I've read. They feed on mulberry leaves, primarily. I think that freeze-drying the worms & putting them in capsule form would be the best way to ingest them. If anyone decides to start a business doing this, remember to send me my monthly commission!

The worms in the M & F article that had 10grams protein per worm were tomato hookworms. Just for the record. In case anyone wants to try a worm diet.
