cycle on + PCT = time off from what I was always told .

Yeah, I know I am starting a little sooner than I expected. A full 6-8 weeks would have been optimal, but It has been about 4weeks now since my last cycle ended. as per my ph experience, I have only done 2 cycles, this will be my third. After this cycle I plan on taking a considerable amount of time off.

looks good man, I agree about maybe taking on to much for your body w/o enough rest between ph's ,maybe a good blood panel now,and another after you go into you pct, better to be safe,god knows I've been down the road of a jacked liver,and enlarged kidney or was it liver, oh well things are good now.

As far as your pix, things look good , you have a nice wide back, your traps are showing a bit, arms are good, maybe hit the chest a bit harder, maybe more incline using DC r/p.Good luck ,and stay healthy.

ok I got my products today!

I was so excited. I was worried they wouldnt come because of the huge blizzard we are having in chicago.

So my dosages will be as follows:

Bold: 400mg/Day (2 Caps in the morning, 1 Cap PreWorkout, 1 Cap Before Bed)
Testabolan: 2 caps in the morning and 2 Caps in the evening
iPrimer: 30 mins preworkout
iPower:Immediately Post workout
Nitrace: 6 Caps Approximately 45 Mins Preworkout

Had My First workout officially ON cycle today. Felt great despite taking the train for an hour and walking blocks to the gym in a blizzard. But as the OAK said: It doesnt matter because its worth it!

Today was Chest

3 Sets Incline Flyes: 60/10 60/8 60/6
3 Sets Flat Flyes: 50/10 50/8 50/6
3 Sets Decline Flyes: 40/10 40/8 40/6
3 Sets Cable Flye: 20/20/20

Workout was awesome. My chest pump was unreal! The combination of Nitrace and iPrimer really hit me full force, along with a double-shot of BOLD!
I am used to having a solid meal preworkout and maybe a protein shake, but this felt so much better!

iPower was taken directly after workout.

Both iPrimer and iPower taste really good. I was worried at first, but the fruit punch flavor isnt bad at all.

***NOTE***
Beginning Weight is 202, not 203. I reweighed myself this weekend a few times, and never went to 203, so for this cycle my benchmark will be 202.

Besides that there is not much to report. Everything is going good so far. I will update more tomorrow, Which is shoulder day!

yeah for real haha. Chest has always been much harder to develop, but I have learned what works and what doesnt work. Any pointers would be much appreciated.Today was an off day, had a huge exam. :x

tomorrow is shoulders, abs, obliques, will have a more comprehensive update.

Try pre-exhaustion every once and awhile, or widen your grip, triceps can easy be the major pusher in this exercise, flip your grip on the bar when benching it'll hit the upper chest more.

if you do close-grip bench as a triceps move (if u don't then add it) i've always preferred to superset it with skull crushers (lying triceps ext.) once u get into the closegrip bench bring the weight to your lower chest then with a semi arc like motion when u bring the weight up make somewhat of an arcso the bar is a little past the top of your head, u should really feel a full squeeze in your chest, have someone get a profile view just to see if u have it correct

B had a good point about the reverse grib press it works well for the upper chest and use a wide grip for that 1 . good luck

Yeah I decided to switch to all flye movements, this seemed like a good choice. I am going to continue this way for 4 weeks total, then I will switch back to pressing.

Sound good? And I will try the moves you mentioned.

when you say double dose of bold, you mean 1200mg? recommended is 600mg... whats the dosing projection/current?

Double dose? Not sure what you mean. I am at 400mg ed. I may step it up to 600mg depending on how I feel.

Today was shoulders, biceps, and triceps

Preacher Curl, 4 Sets:50 x 10, 70 x 8, 70 x 6, {Double Drop 50 x 6, 40 x 6, 20 x 4}
Weight is the amount added to the bar

Wide Grip Cable Curl, 3 Sets: 105 x 10, 105 x 8, {105 x 6 Drop 65 x 6}

Machine Shoulder Press, 3 Sets: 30 x 12 Superset Lateral Raise, 30 x 12 Superset Lateral Raise, 30 x 10 Superset Lateral Raise

Skull Crushers, 3 Sets: 70 x 8, 70 x 7, 70 x 6
Weight is the amount added to the bar

Rope Pressdown: 125 x 10, 125 x 8, 125 x 8

Had an awesome pump, arms totally blew up by the end of the workout. Felt great. Tomorrow will be legs, so that should be interesting as usual. :rolleyes:

Today Was Chest:

3 Giant Sets:

Incline Flye
Flat Flye
Decline Flye
Cable Flye

all four combined into one giant set. Did that 3 times. Sets were not too heavy, volume was kept pretty high, usually 10/8/6


Then:

2 Handed Cable Press: 3 Sets (All very heavy, low rep)

Got this idea from Milos Sarcev. If you guys havent watched some of his hardcore workouts over at ***************** I suggest you go and watch them. Giant sets are definetely not for the faint at heart!
But damn do they work! OOOUUUCHHH!!!

Great Workout. Chest was pumped like CRAZY! As we know that is a lagging bodypart for me, so I am hoping these giant sets will be enough to shock my lagging chest into newfound growth. I typically do straight sets or drop sets, never really experimented with giant sets for an extended period of time. Anyone care to give their opinion?

I like Milos training strategy, he's very intense with his training style. His leg day is brutal, you should try that next

I like leg ext. in the mix instead of sissy squats though

Weighed in today at 205! up 2-3 lbs so far. glad to see progress in the first week :D

Today was legs

I made friends with the squat rack, and then hit leg presses and calf raises.

Also started doing hip adduction and abduction (2-3 Sets each) at the end of my leg workouts. Anyone else do these?

Looking good for the first week man! I heard a few kids yappin about iForce's primed stuff... I guess its pretty good... but then again these are the guys using cell tech and anator and walking with their shoulders puffed out... lol My girlfriend does the adductor/abductor... I stretched with em before, but I never really tried to tone my legs up to much.

iPrimer is great. I like it a lot. Its much more effective to have a mixed meal 1.5 hours before, and then iPrimer 30 mins before lifting.

Yeah the leg machines are just to burn out those stubborn areas of the quads that dont get worked as much. I have a hard time developing the width of my quads, and these have helped.

have your tried switching your squat stance? Like open toed and inward pointed toes? I'm learning that, it helps TREMENDOUSLY. My legs are finally looking good instead of just bulky and hairy lol.

don't change the position of your footing too much, its not good to mess with your foot alignment in a closed-chain exercise, esp. when the weight is pretty much resting on your spinal column, I would either go real close (ft within a few inches of each other) or wider and you can turn your feet out a little here, otherwise its harder on the hips.

A good way, sorry something I like to try is doing the close ones, doin a rest pause or jus takin a few breaths then taking my wide stance, cuz theres less distance to go and you are targeting SOME diff. muscle groups with the diff stances

Do the same thing. Not looking for max weight on them of course-reps 10-20. Will help stengthen/flexibility of stablizers, groin, hip etc.

Every time I do my legs. I figure I don't want to be too overloaded in the quads and hams and not have enough stability in the sides.

I got a little advice for your chest. I notice you are only doing fly exercises, which is good to jolt muscle fibers out of reserve with the myotatic reflex, but to obtain maximal hypertrophy, I think you need some midrange movements and contracted movements as well. Here is the chest workout I use when I work my chest only in that day;

Exercise 1 Flat Bench Press
Exercise 2 Incline Bench Press

These two are your midrange movements for muscle synergy.

Exercise 3 Dumbell Flies (incline, flat or combo of both)

This is your stretch movement to jolt muscle fibers out of reserve with the myotatic reflex.

Exercise 4 Pec Deck Flies
Exercise 5 Cable Crossovers

These are your contracted movements to finish the chest with full range resistance. For bulking, I do all of these in sets of 5. I work my way up to 3 sets of 5 and then add 5lbs and start over. I hope this helps you.

I didnt say the deep stretching from the DC training would hinder your performance. The was a member with the user name "idiot". I actually have no comment on the DC stretching as I have never incorporated it. Maybe B-Natural can give his input on that one. The important thing with bench pressing is to absolutely not do any more weight than you are comfortable with. Unfortunately, that exercise has became a "show off" exercise in most of the gyms. The incline dumbell press will be good for upper chest, just be sure not to neglect the lower chest. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

UPDATE:


BOLD dosages are being increased to 600mg per day
2 Morning
2 Afternoon
2 Night

Weight: 206 As of right now
This number is after all of my meals, so its not completely accurate.

Vascularity has noticeably increased.

Strength has gone up in most lifts. Have set a new PR for squats.

All in all things are going great. This is where gains should start coming now that im a couple weeks in.

Will Update more in the near future.

due to an unexpected change in contest dates, i will begin cutting for my contest

tomorrow I will begin an hiit regiment every other day. I posted my new training idea in the training section yall should take a look.

but pretty much doing a steady 12 week cut while trying to spare as much mass as possible.

Supps will be the same.

Not going to add a fat burner till im off cycle.

first day doing HIIT. I personally liked it. Was intense, but not overly taxing. And burned less cals and took less time than traditional Slow Pace Cardio.

Anyone else do HIIT?

Well man, still lookin pretty good, but still need to start hammering that chest out bro!!! Once you cut up a bit, I'm sure your abs will look decent, Maybe up the traps a bit to. Focus on your chest though, its way behind the rest of your body. Also your inner quads. You might want to slightly face your toes outwards when you do squats to help with that. All in all dude, you're lookin better, just keep up the good work dude.

how far out are u from the contest? this isn't bad at all, dependent upon how your body reacts to losing weight, you should need no more than 8weeks, but 12weeks is better and 16weeks works if u can handle it, however u are where i was at in like week 4 i think, and i have 13 total weeks. lookin great for a startin point man. whats yer weight class lookin to be? how tall are u too?

If u want a knit-pick, I would start hittin some front delt exercises to pop that out more, and everyone needs work on there upper chest, so i guess workin that more would help work more of the front delt as well, although u don't want the delt taking the workload of your incline presses

Yeah I know my chest is not up to par, but like I said I dont know what to do. I have tried every single training method you could think of to hit upper pecs, nothing reallyy works. Give me ideas.

My inner quads I am working on, but right now overall thigh development is the most important to me.

Front Delts, Yes I will also be hitting these more. Going to start doing giant sets of front dumbell raises.

I am 6'0 and weigh like 202.

Do cybex mid height crossovers, the low ones just stretch the chest I don't feel it well enough, it fries my delts first. use position 4or 5 and bring it in front and above your head about 6in. think of lo cable crosses jus with a higher setting and turn your hands slightly inward so your thumbs only touch

If so, here's the plan, start with an adjustable bench, the one at my gym has about 25diff holes, others have exact settings (i.e 75 65, 45,15,0) but if you have the diff holes like mine, start at a few clicks back from the top, so its damn near a military press. do the 10sets of 10 jus for a day, give it a try, however not done, on set 2, same weight drop the bench down a few notches, then again and so forth until you've reached set 10, and you can take about 30-60sec rest. if you have the other type of bench, jus stay at each setting for 2-3sets dependent upon the #of levels of course.

Next, 5sets lying triceps ext on incline bench. Do your tri ext. then hit up the close grip bench for the superset, but bring the bar to the midline of your chest and with a semi arch motion push the bar straight up and back so that when you reach near lockout its almost behind your head, don't forget to squeeze the pecs, 5sets of these and your day is DONE!!!!!! for the workout, well sort of, find an area where you can flex (and not look like you're in love with yourself, some ppl might jus ask q's as yer doin this so its best to focus rather than ppl tryin to interrupt) and be sure to flex your arms like u where huggin a tree, not the crab most muscular, focus on squeezin the upper chest, you can do these in between every other set on this day, but you should hold it for 15-30 sec, its rough though

Use the cable Crossover machine and do incline flyes on that, but superset it with a higher incline set of incline db bench

so cable inc flyes at 35deg, and inc db bench at 45deg

No we have a smith machine. I will give this a try. 10 sets, there are 5 hole positions so it will be like 2 sets per hole, then ill do close grip BP, then thats it?

Oh I see, lying extensions(skullcrushers) supersetted with close grip BP.

How should I do the bench press? Specifically, when I descend, where should the bar be landing? SHould it be lower, like on my nipples, or higher, like on my upper chest. I would think higher on the upperchest, just want to make sure.

In between the nips and clavicle, at least thats where I bring it to, at that close it hurts my shoulders so I bring it lower, I like the slight arc motion it helps me really squeeze at the top

OK well, chest day isnt for a few days, but I will definetely give this a try. I havent done High volume barbell pressing in a long, long time.

High Volume? Just wait until my cycle coming in August, the word volume doesn't emphasize the amount well enough. look for THE FREAK CYCLE coming up in june/july or august we'll see. I am reading a book by Dr.Colker, some may know which one, but please make no mention of names, it brings up an interesting approach to dieting so we'll see how that is implemented as well

Just an Update

Things have been going great.

Diet is spot on, have really been watching my cals/carbs.
Waist has already begun thinning out.
Strength has stayed up thanks to BOLD and TEstabolan.

Have been doing the basic Split
Back/bis
Chest/Tris
Legs

Yesterday was back
The day before that was Legs

I think I am going to do Chest/tris today, Want to try the new split me and B-Nat have been discussing.

Update:

Cutting with BOLD is awesome.

Usually when I diet hard I lose all my fullness and vascularity. Not with BOLD!
I have stayed strong, full, and vascular in the last two weeks and have really lost a considerable amount of fat.
Going to post pics on thursday or friday, ust because the difference is already noticeable.

Stiff Leg Deads: 6 Sets
Drop Set Leg Extensions, supersetted with walking lunges into Ham Curl Drop Set: 2 Rotations
Seated Calf Raises supersetted with standing calf raises.

I could barely walk, nearly passed out doing the walking lunges into ham curls.

Doing the incline presses a every angle for 2 sets on the smith machine till you get to flat.

Today: Shoulders/Biceps/TricepsTodays workout went awesome. My arms blew uP!

Cable Preacher curls With Camber Bar: 5 Sets Supersetted with-->
Tricep Straight Bar Press down: 5 Sets

Front Raise: Started at 30's, did one giant set all the way down to 5's in 5lb intervals
OUCHH!!!!!!

Machine Military press SUPERSETTED with lateral Raises: 2 sets

Then I finished it off with a couple high-rep sets of rope pressdowns.

Im really confident with the way things are going now, Contest prep is gruelling, but rewarding.

just a little update:

Weight has dropped to 191!! thats about 15 pounds in 2 weeks. see I told you my metabolism is crazy fast!

But luckily, with bold and my strict diet, I can tell most of this is fat loss. I am so much leaner and just as strong. My lifts have not gone down at all, and my vascularity just keeps getting better and better. I really like BOLD for cutting.

IMO bold is best for cutting, I saw better results for cutting than for bulking. Not to say you cant bulk with it, but I wouldnt reccommend it for a dirty bulk, however, a lean clean bulk would be excellent.

This is my last week on BOLD and then I start PCT, WHich will be MASS FX and HYPERDROL.
Im excited, This cut is going really well, I will post some pics to prove it!

sounds like it, and the hyperdrol/massfx should bode you well with a clean diet. I believe dinoiii was doin or is a big believer in carb cycling, although he was above maintenance and you're below maintenance you may end up with a balancing of your weight in which you drop fat but maintain on the scale. hopefully thats not a bad thing, I am gonna use massfx for my pct for my nex cycle, not sure if i'll need to add the hyperdrol in it as well, if so i'll pry go wit the HDx2 instead of the original

I do 3 days of very low Carbs < 100g

then one day with a couple of refeed meals so I am at about 300g, and relatively high cals

then start over.

Its hard to say to be honest. Because I was taking both at the same time i cant really distinguish between the two.

BUT what I can say is this:
I had absolutely no libido issues while on cycle, I had no lethargy issues while on cycle.

This was big for me because those were the two main issues I had when I did my last cycle. So I think that testabolan really helped with that. I think I am going to stick with this set-up for my next cycle (1 PH and 1 NattyTest Booster)

My PCT starts tomorrow.

Well i started PCT last night. right now I am taking a few days off and relaxing in sunny california! Im on vacation.

Luckily I get to go running everymorning in the hot sun and get a great tan. So its not completely going against my goals. Plus, I needed a little break!

Still doing the whole low low low carb thing!

ah yes, fun fun. I was delirious yesterday, I thought the light went from red to green, so i pumped the gas...came to...realized oh shit its still red....then ater i was already about 5ft into the intersection i figured i might as well jus keep goin, and the light turned green. All this, and its only the start of the week, and its 5.5hrs to IL, sweet. All in good fun man, jus don't log on here the day after my show, cuz food will be my topic of discussion
