the secret to having your lower abdominals show is having very low bf. what ever diet works for you to get low bf...ckd, low carb, 40-40-20, it just depends. but the main thing is you are going to have to get down to about 7% bf to see the lower abs (7% is a rough estimate)

What is a 40-40-20 diet?

a diet where 40% of your calories are received from protein, 40% form carbs, and 20% from fats

I dont do any ab workouts really... and I still have an amazing 6 pack. Ive read that some pro bodybuilders (Lee Priest..) dont do any ab workouts, but yet have absolutely amazing abs. They say the other workouts (squats, leg raises, etc...) work them out enough... they have the proof too

I also read in a magazine that Lee Priest doesnt work abs because he says that once he got a good foundation he didnt have to train them anylonger. I am the same way. I dont like doing abs so ill do them every once in a while. I was a gymnist for 7 years and have extremely strong abs. Theyre pretty big and hard. The onyl thing I have a problem with is the baby fat covering them up...lol...But he was saying that theyre used in other workouts that he doesnt train them anymore.
