View Full Version : need tips for cutting up

I am almost at the end of a body challenge contest and so far I have lost 27 lbs and 6.5" from my waist. I have also put on an inch on my arms.
I feel good about my progress but only have 2 and a half weeks left and need some help.
So far I have been eating 5-7 small meals a day high in protien, good fats, and good carbs. But I need to do something to give me a little extra help because I want to loose another 10-15 lbs. and some more off my mid section.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.

oh ya what do you think of carb cutting for two weeks, would it work good, if so whats the best way to do it. I also don't want to loose any muscle gains.

you can try cutting carbs on your off days

how few should I cut them down too?
I weigh 238 lbs and right now I eat a lot of carbs. I don't have an exact count but I try to eat some carbs with each meal.
If I cut them out, should I cut out half this weak and then even more next week. Or Just cut as much as I can right now?

i wouldnt cut them on days you lift. you can cut them down to almost nothing on days where you dont workout but do it gradually

For the last week should I cut more. I was thinking of cutting them out of all meals after 5 pm. I know I need carbs to keep muscle and energy but I would still like to loose a lot more fat.
Also is there a good way to get rid of water weight for a couple days? I need to take after pics and would like to look as cut as possible.

you can find some supps online that release water, i dont know of any off hand. You can cut the carbs past 5 but get a decent amount in for the day
