Why is it that andro was banned and you can still buy steroids? I mean arent steroids worse for you? I know they are illegal, but you can still buy them. You cant buy andro anymore.

steroids and andro are illegal. steroids are still available cause they have medical value-andro is a designer drug with no tmuch medical use.

I will try to be thorough on this one:

You are classifying with the blanket term andro an entire classification of products that are more aptly termed prohormones/prosteroids.

Also, the blanket terms steroids is very broad. By that definition, cholesterol is a steroid. I hope you see where I am going with this.

Therefore, back in Jan of 05, certain ph's were banned. There was a list established of compounds that also included their precursors, etc.

Anabolic/Androgenic Steroids (which is what you blanket termed steroids) were banned at various times. They are not automatically illegal because they are steroids (see my cholesterol example above).

So..... new compounds come out, they fall into the ph/prosteroid family, but they are not on the ban list, therefore, not banned.
