This may be a dumb question but forgive me. I am under the impression that DHEA is not technically a prohormone. I am also aware of research that has shown that it can raise natural testosterone levels. Would if be effective or practical to include DHEA into one's PCT after a PH cycle?

DHEA is the mother hormone..

DHEA is the most abundant steroid in the body. DHEA is a steroid precursor produced by the adrenal gland and converted to testosterone or the estrogens by the body's tissues. Adequate DHEA levels give the body the building blocks necessary to produce these hormones. Levels of DHEA are inversely associated with coronary artery disease. Taking DHEA may increase IGF-1 levels and increase the sense of well-being. DHEA levels decrease with age.

so it would convert into both...test and estrogen...u dont need the estrogen so...ya i would still suggest an estrogen blocker big time but this can raise test levels

only if you wanted a massive conversion to estrogen with a side of total baldness. ;) dhea actually is to be avoided as a general rule if youre trying to save yourself from the typical side effects of ph/aas use.

I would not use it, and never have in any of my pct cycles. DHEA has been shown to be beneficial for mainly men over the age~40+ as DHEA levels start to drop around this time drastically. You would be better off with nolva for sure. Clomid, an anti-e, test booster, etc can also be used with much better results. Hope this helps.

I would not suggest DHEA in PCT. There are other derivitives of DHEA that have different effects that can be very beneficial in PCT, such as the types contained in Reduce XT which helps blunt cortisol release.

IMO taking DHEA in PCT is a bad idea. endogenous test boost is what we are looking for in PCT. Adding DHEA to convert and or raise into T is still borderline exogenous. please correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's right on.
