i went to the grocery store and picked up something that seems to be better than cottage cheese for a pre bed protein source.
fat free shredded cheese.
it has 45 calories per serving, 9 g of protein and 2 g of carbs, no sugar.
that means for 90 cals you would get 18 g of protein and 4 g of carbs, compared to about 13 g of protein and 8 g of carbs from cottage cheese.
anyone have any feelings on this. i picked up a motzerella and cheddar, they taste decent, not quite like real cheese, but not at all bad. if you mix the cheese with something, for instance and omlette, it tastes like normal cheese, but straight up it is a little different
