i know that some of you guys have tried this product but i havent
heard much feedback or if there has been im sorry ive overlooked
im placing an order here at DA next week and im making my list
of things i need im still trying to decide on glucophase. ive read the
info about it and one thing i dont like is taking in 80gm of simple carbs
with it. that alone is going to spike the hell out of your insulin. but maybe
im missing something here anyway if i could get some responses back
by next week so i can determine wether to buy or not

i just bought some gxr and about was asking some people that use it about the fact you are suppose to take it with so many simple carbs. they said they dont, they just take it before they eat their breakfast-oatmeal, and they take it pre and or post work out with their shakes that have anywhere from 40 g and up of simple carbs.

I do NOT see pre-workout as a good time to take it. To spare the science, it varies the response of the GLUT 1, 2 and 4 receptors imperative to glucose storage and effect. You will produce an ALMOST INSULIN RESISTANT state - not what you want.
Something to try....
workout for one week with using a pre-workout drink + or - RALA pdts.
workout for one week withOUT using pre-workout drink + or - RALA pdts.
tell me which one you see more of an ANABOLIC effect with. additional nutrient partitioning while the receptors are saturated does NOT happen.

thanks for the help dinoiii. so basically 500 mg of k-r-ala a day is going to saturate the receptors and there is really no reason to take more than that

Currently, I take two caps 30 min prior to the end of my workout and CEE stack.

Well, first things first the product is so hot the DA.com is sold out at the moment. You're shopping at the right site it seems, they have the best price I can find on the net at the moment on Designer supps gear.
I've been using it for 3 weeks, on the following scheme
1 GXR upon waking with 35g WPI and 60g of ground oats
1 GXR with my last balanced whole foods meal (usually 2 hr pre workout)
this typically contains about 60g of carbs and 40g of animal flesh and maybe a vegetable.
separate pre workout shake 25g WPI + 30g ground oats (no GXR)
1 GXR post workout with 35g WPI and 60g of ground oats
I've lost about 6 lbs so far, some fat some water. Strength is up, probably because GXR is allowing me to eat a high to moderate carb diet and lose BF at the same time. Noticing a pump very similiar to my anarchy stack experience. Improved definition in the abs.
I've never used straight up k-r-ala only r-ala (while on the anarchy stack) so I can't tell you GXR is any better than k-r-ala. But it beats the hell out of r-ala (syntrax, ast)

Here is an interesting comparison that should make you all happy, including Chris and Designer Supplements.
Today I was online visiting a vitamin supplement company....one that is not really in competition with DA or other sports supp companies, but rather, your basic vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc., you all know what I mean. Now I like this company and have done a whole lot of business with them, as they have very good quality, low prices, and I would say they are an industry leader.
So I saw that they have a new product....it is just "straight up k-r-ala", and it definitely caught my interest since this was the 1st time I had seen it other than here with the Glucophase xr. My initial impression was that it must certainly cost less than Glucophase xr, since Glucophase xr is a specialty sports supp, and has the addition of D-Biotin 500mcg, Quercetin 200mg, Q3D 24mg, and Q4D 25mg. So I was going to add it to an order, but then I thought, hey I should 1st just check this out and compare the prices.
To make the comparison, I broke it down to the cost of k-r-ala per 100 mg. Here is the surprise....the "straight up k-r-ala" product cost $0.24 per 100mg, on sale. But the k-r-ala in Glucophase xr here at DA costs only $0.13.7 per 100 mg......and...it has the other high grade ingredients to boot. Now how in the heck can you go wrong with that. No wonder it is out of stock....they are probably having a difficult time keeping up the production to meet the orders.
But hey....don't go and raise the price on us Designer, or DA. Give the consumer a good deal and you will continue to sell lots of product, make $, and build a loyal customer base.

Yes too bad it is out of stock. I just noticed that. But that is even one more reason to help Rodney at Nutrabolics test out his new K-r-ala product Insulean K.
I really look forward to checking that out. And thanks Rodney for letting me test your product.

Spoke with Matt late last week and he told me that it should be in stock here at DA later this week.

When you get a chance to talk to Designer Supps could you PLEASE get them to post what the heck is actually in Rebound XT? All they say is 25mg rebound xt and that is not saying anything at all.
What is it?
Thanks.

sorry I didn't see your response earlier stallion...
I am saying that yes, receptor saturation plays a role...but no it is not necessarily enough to take one pill per day
the effect is essentially transient and it likely depends on the number of carbohydrates you consume...
and I do NOT think it is the kind of response you need PRE-workout (which is more what I was getting at) alonside the fact that if you take it pre-workout, the receptors would likely be occupied through your post-workout period (more of a timing effect)...
I agree with POST-workout though in addition to first thing in the AM - a third time would likely depend on additional carbohydrate ingestion which is something many shy away from this time of year (i.e. - spring--> summer).

While i agree not to dose pre-lifting (for low blood sugar reasons), may i ask you to expand what you meant by the above please? I'm not trying to be awkward, but i just can't see what you're trying to convey.
Cheers! :D
