Just went through bulking cycle w/ decent gains but my waist line is in bad shape. I hit abs x2 week w/ light cardio x2 (will need to bump up). Been going for sets of 8 on mass exercises, and 12+ on isolation. Total # of sets = chest 14, shoulders 16, legs 6 (hate 'em) and I've been using a heart rate monitor which has helped. Diet has always been solid, but metab has slowed down since hitting 30. Looking for input on training techniques and supplements as I'm looking to tighten up my 6' 200lb frame. Any advice out there?

hey bro do you have AIM, yahoo instant messanger, or an email address? I can help you out alot since I'm just starting my spring cut now, and you can benefit from the "dirty work" I've done in preparing for it.

i will be starting to cut in about three weeks. Can I get some of the info you are talking about? I have a couple of bottles of methyl dien and mohn xt that I will be running for a month. I want to try and use ECA after that for another month. I apreciate any help I can get. I have been taking four protien shakes a day that have 40 grams of protein in them. I went crazy with my other meals and have a lot of fat on me. Do you think it would be a good idea to go high protein with low fat and complex carbs?

i dont want to put words in wed's mouth, but i have spoken with him a few times, and i would have to say he has done this by working hard. he does cardio a few times a week (i think maybe 3), weight trains hard 4-5 days a week, eats right, and supplements with ec green tea and synephrine. in my opinion, losing weight is all about how dedicated you are, if you really want to do it, it will happen, just eat the right way and train hard

Things slow down greatly when you get sub 10% bf. Especially around 8% BF for me. If you don't know what your doing at this point (and not using any gear) you'll start to burn up muscle when you chisle out. Or you can resort to some other nasty and potentially dangerous chemicals.

skip sorry i havent emailed you yet, I've been super busy. I'll send you an email right now.

As IS said I'm running an ECG stack, which I can outline here and then the email:

25mg Vasopro Ephedrine HCl
200mg Prolab Caffeine Anhydrous
~400mg Green Tea Extract

I take that 3X a day (45 mins before lunch, 45 mins before training, 45 mins before supper). I got everything but the green tea extract here on DA for a good price, and the shipping was VERY fast.

I also use Serious Nutrition Solutions Synephedrine HCl 2X a day. I really like this product but I dont think stacking this with the ECG is a good idea for people who are new on the block with stimulants. You could however stack this with the CG is you're scared of ephedrine for some reason. I will say the Synephedrine HCl gives me more warmth and energy than the Vasapro. I don't think the synephedrine is out yet though

Hey Wedgylx thank you for your response. I apreciate the board because I am trying to figure out what I am doing. I have tried to lift weights in the past and had no real focus. I went and hoped something good came out of it. So if I trouble you guys with some rookie questions I am sorry.

What do you think about this plan?

I recently began to split my body into chest, back, shoulders, arms and legs.

I was thinking of going chest/tri, back/bi and legs/shoulders or seperating shoulders and legs.(I liked that split) I want to switch from reps of 8-10 to 12-15. I will be lifting five times a week and doing 30 minutes of cardio five times a week as well.

I have a hard time with my diet, how does this sound? I will drink four shakes that have forty grams of protein in them. I will have two other meals consisting of low fat high protein and try and stick to vegetables or complex carbs.

I will also follow your Plan of the ECE or ECA stack. The hard part is I will be starting to work the graveyard shift this Sunday so I hope to keep this up. I will not start the EC stack for 3 weeks because I will be on pct from M1T. I am currently beached whale at 250 pounds and stand at 5 "10". (if I was 6 "5" my weight would be perfect!!!!!

But back to reality I want to loose 30-35 pounds by the end of July? This is very possible right?

skip, did I ever email you?!? I totally forget whether I did or not. If i didnt shoot me an email at wedger@merrimack.edu and please accept my apologies for putting it off so long. I've had so much work this week, its been ridiculous.

The goal you set isnt impossible but It will take a whole lot of dedication.

I'd wait at least a few weeks AFTER pct to cut, thats just me. You dont wanna lose your gains.

don't shy away from low GI carbs: oats, wheat bread, wheat bagels, sweet potatos, brown rice, basmati rice

I'd get as much protein from whole foods as possible rather than shakes. Chicken breast is king here and tuna if you enjoy it. I've been eating canned chicken breast and its pretty good, just make sure to get a reduced sodium brand.
