for as long as i can remember i have been using 100%on whey, but recently i stumbled on to the dymatize section and saw all these great looking flavors. are they as good as they look? such as mocha, toffee and others? what are all of your personal pref??? thanks

Dymatize does taste good, but to me, I like the ON flavors better. Plus ON is 24g of protein a serving, Dymatize is 23g a serving. And when you add up the extra gram per whole container you get a better value (and taste IMO) with ON protein.
The double chocolate is amazing

Not only is the taste and quality better with the ON 100%, but Dymatize doesnt even have BCAA's in it while the ON is loaded with them. So in other words, if you were to buy the Dymatize Whey because the "flavors better" then you would also need to buy yourself some BCAA's to throw in it.

Dymatize does have BCAAs in it, they are just the amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. A complete protein, as found in whey protein, has all twenty amino acids, these include the BCAAs

ON Whey definitely gets my vote. I've gone through so many 10 lb bags of the chocolate that I've lost count. It just can't be beat for the price and quality.
Off topic, but I also use ON's Serious Mass (chocolate) as a weight gainer. It is also great.

then i guess i stick with the on double chocolate. thanks for all the feedback. and hahha, i noticed NOT A SINGLE PERSON said anything about the vinilla. OMG, that is sooo nasty. personally i think just about every vanilla whey on the market is ass nasty. besides muscle milk but that is in a diff catagory.
and pistonpump.... how is the rocky road? what is the difference between that and the chocolate? just curious. because it has always cought my eye but with wheys, if u find one u like just stick with it has always been my motto. thanks again guys.

Your statement is a bit misleading.
The serving size for ON is 30.4 grams and Dymatize is 29.4.
It is also worth noting that Dymatize has less Sodium, cholesterol, and carbs.
ON has less fat. Same saturated.

The measurement scoops I have for both ON and Dymatize are both 70cc.
And as for the other stuff, just depends on how it fits into your diet. Still the ON comes out to a better price when you find how much the 10lb bag of ON cost with 24g of protein as serving, compared to two 5lbs jugs of Dymatize with 23g of protein a serving.

70cc is measure of volume, not mass.

No problem.
I can't decide which protein I like best so I just figure I would even the playing field for people deciding.

This one isn't even close for me.
Dymatize Elite Whey is FAR better than ON 100% Gold. I used to use ON's all the time, until a very faithful bodybuilder told me about Dymatize over a year ago.
The taste is better, and so is the price. It DOES have BCAA's in it, and has Glutamine in it.
I live on this stuff. Flavor and price is very important when it comes to whey. If you take in 2-3 shakes a day, you dont want to have to choke them down. As far as taste is concerned, I don't see how anyone can seriously say ON's taste better. But I guess we all have different taste buds. ;)
Dymatize Elite Whey I think is the best value protein there is.
I love the stuff (if you couldn't tell.)
Nice thread by the way.

I've used both and I just prefer ON whey. Both are solid products and you really can't go wrong with either one. Both taste great but as far as mixability I'd have to give a slight edge to Dymatize.
