I would take even more than that.

I use Dymatize Elite Whey, and it is 23g of Protein per scoop.

I weigh around 180LBS and I bet I take in about 115g of protein from shakes per day.

1 scoop upon wakening - 23g
1 scoops preworkout - 23g
2 scoops postworkout - 46g
1 scoop later evening - 23g

This is not a guideling, just showing you what I do. If I were you, I would look into Dymatize Elite Whey, 5LBS for $23.00.

What product are we talking about? You mention "liquid protein" - there is a product by IDS that goes by that name, however, I get the feeling based on Click's response it may not be what you are referencing.

At 200 pounds, I would suggest 400 grams of protein per day (2 grams per pound of body weight). Taking this question without knowing more is a tad challenging. This is a combo of supplements + food btw.

I personally don't care for Dymatize...I kinda go against the masses, but that is an opinion (I have stated in prior places why I feel that way and am now in a different position to be talking candidly about it).

I dont understand why someone would waste their money on IDS liquid protein. Its expensive, has small servings, and theres no reason why its any better than ON 100% Gold Standard Whey or Dymatize Elite Whey.

I don't necessarily agree with RTD type products actually. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't clear to me if this was even the product he was talking about.

I did a search and used "Liquid Protein" on the homepage and that is the only real match that came up. Have to wait for JThunder for rationale here.

That orange flavored Amino Fuel? Ewwww! You're indeed brave..

The IDS product isn't too bad, I've used it for a month since its release, I plan to implement it in my competition prep.. It's called New Whey..

I appreciate the blessing, brother! Many returns to you, friend..

I've used the Amino Fuel back in the days, it was just an odd texture.. I liked to mix it in 12oz orange juice and 20g vanilla protein, I'd use double the serving.. :)
