It's not hype its proven. ZMA has been around for awhile and has had multiple studies done on it. It defintely works, is cheap, and has no side affects. Don't expect huge gains or anything but it's definately a good supplement.

It really just makes you feel more rested and helps me with soreness. As far as everything else, I've heard its not so proven.

Are ya'll serious?! ZMA is really just an insurance factor regarding hormone levels, free test, and IGF-1 levels. Cycle the stuff? This is not a PH or steroid bro, its just zinc, magnesium, and aspartate plus vitamin B6. I think you have the wrong impression of this supp, dont expect test levels to sky rocket. It'll really just normalize your test levels if they are suppressed at all, and you'll get better recovery due to enhanced sleep.

ZMA is good stuff. Definitely worth it, consider it a 'basic' among your other bodybuilding staples.

like anything else your body gets ammund to the dosage, and there for you would have to take more to get the same results. so taking more every 2weeks or so. would help. makes sense there buddy ??

Supplementing with ZMA doesn't make your body grow in tolerance to it like caffeine, you take the same amount everyday year round.

Indeed, that's like saying that you'll become "immune" to a multi/whey/BCAA's.. ;)

It's not an immune response when the products noticable effects diminish, it's more like negative feedback or diminishing returns.. Not the case with 2 minerals bonded to L-Methionine with vitamin B6.. You lose minerals during exercise, not just the electrolyte forms..

I like to stack ZMA with 5HTP, Alpha GPC, and melatonin..

your body will not attain a tolorance to ZMA, it is not a stimulant and only has zinc magnesium and b-complex in it. Those are basic vitamins and minerals... That would be like saying your body is going to obtain a tollarance to your mult-vitamin. Honestly, you can take it year round, and it will help with the deficit most bodybuilders have in those 3 specific vitamins/minerals when going under heavy workouts and cardio.
