I am a 21 year old aspiring bodybuilder with good genetics and stand tall at 6'3 248 lbs and growing with at the most 14% body fat(currently bulking, i was 6% over the summer). I see what all the pro's take and what they eat. All I can say to that how could they have bought all of that when they were amateurs like me?? I have to attend college and work as a waitor at chili's, yes i know shutup lol, and I do not have near enough money for a good cycle, 6 full meals a day, and most of the needs of a good bodybuilder. I have competed in small local contests and placed 4th and 2nd in a couple Autin TX shows, not to mention 3rd in a powerlifting contest and my training partner won(I would've won if I didn't have the bar slip out of my hands on deads,****!). Also, I am currently studying food nutrition at Texas State. I was wondering what pro's did when they were my age to get the necessary gains to make it all the way to the top??

If money is tight, you can always get cans of tuna for very cheap, and also steel cut oats, 50lbs for about 35 bucks.

It is good that you are attending college. Bodybuilding (especially at your age) should be a hobby not an expected career. If you do indeed have the genetics and physigue to be a pro it will happen for you but you need to develop other areas of your life. Food is not that expensive if you stick with the basics and buy in bulk. you just need to work hard and sacrifice so you have the money for your bodybuilding needs.........do you have pics from your show
