Great mix here for a MRP or even before bed.

Between classes I've been drinking 1.5 scoops of Isobolic in 8oz water, 8oz skim milk with a whole wheat bagel. Perfect substitution for a lunch if I need it.

The flavor is really good. Not too sweet, not too bland. Another thing I've tried is 1 scoop isobolic with 1 scoop of vanilla whey. This also tastes really good.

Other times I mix 1.5 scoops isobolic with 1.5 scoops whey and drink it over 1.5 hour span at work

I'd definitely get this again!

haha sounds good. Dupont wanna pay me in goods or just per hour?

I find adding a little milk helps with thickness. Also the added proteins just add...well....protein lol. When im in the middle of sales or just on the sales floor obviously i cant rip into a chicken breast and brocolli so protein shakes are my only calories between breaks. This is definitely one of the the top two sustained release proteins I have had.

mind if i ask where you work?

I work at Sears selling lawn and garden as well as health and fitness goods. I'm on a commission based salary and I make decent money there. I only work two days a week and i make enough to pay all the essencials (gym, car, insurance, food etc) and i have a little left over for occasional supplements. I've been working there for almost 3 years and i like it.

I sell tractors, treadmills, grills....you name it. If anyone's in the market for anything IM me ;)

unfortunately the snowthrowers are gone until next year. I had a great season sales-wise with them though. Did alot better this year than last year. There was a day in MA before the giant storm hit us that I rang made about $16,000 worth of snowthrowers in 4-5 hours. It was nuts, we're talking a line 20 people long waiting to buy the machines. Sold extended warranties on all but one of them, and brought about $600 home for the 6 hours shift. I've never seen a day like that in my life. It was a huge help because I'm still in debt from Xmas lol. It payed one of my four cards off lol.

Back to the topic though:

I purchased a bottle of Raspberry Yogurt and the Chocolate blend and didn't really care for it. I am not knocking it - it may be good for some ... I would have liked a thicker mix probably with the Rasp Yogurt - it tasted like a strawberry blend to me, not really new and exciting. Did give it a shot though - it is a great blend of proteins in its defense, but I was anticipating more based on Rodney's initial post about it. Oh well - I suppose I digress...

Yeah but in the particular blend - recall the isolate is listed first. Again, not my #1 micellar blend...but this is an opinion.

I see your point. One thing I have done and liked was mix 1 scoop nutrabolic isobolic with one scoop of Dorian Yates Pro Peptide.

I can think of 4 other micellar blends I would choose to mix if I wanted to before Dorian - but again this is just an opinion.

lol, believe it or not so can i (although i bet my 4 are different than your four)

Well I'll show you mine if you show me yours :)

Nah...here are the four I would use prior to Dorian...if Chris doesn't carry them, this is my call out to him getting them in stock.

(1) Biotest Lo-Carb Grow! (but with there distribution thing and retail vs. homepage price, I can understand why this wouldn't make sense here)

(2) Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide

(3) SAN Infusion (the all around goody as JRod and I have already discussed)

(4) VPX Micellean (this is a variable position as I have already said I do NOT care for its taste though and would likely put HSN Driver in this position instead due to taste...provided taste isn't an issue though - go for the VPX...this is for the jug, NOT the MRP --> btw: Grahm Cracker is about the best one from the Micellean tastes imo)

* BSN's Lean Dessert Cinnamon Bun is a different taste too for this category. You may have interest checking it out to avoid the monotony of Choclate/Vanilla - just a point that it may round out my top 5 of this category.

i wasnt really thinking of infusion, to me its more of a lower carb mrp

in no particular order

1) ultrapeptide (this is one i didnt think you would have)

2) micellean (thought you might have this one on your list)

3) micellar matrix

4) evopro

I really like Nutrbolics Isobolic Protein. I think that it is quality, but a bit pricey, but I suppose you get what you pay for. I have used 5 lbs of the vanilla and 5 lbs of the chocolate. Tasted decent with cold water, but I prefer to mix with rice milk or half water and half rice milk. Sometimes mix with almond milk. Anyway, it is a great bedtime protein.

Speaking of mixing.....here is what I am using a lot of now for mixing with my protein powders....it is egg white liquids. I love the taste of the vanilla rice milk but I have to consider the additional carbs. I don't mind this earlier in the day, but feel I should keep the carbs to a minimum for the bedtime drink. The egg whites have no fat and no carbs....all protein. And if you have not tried it, you may be surprised. I can mix a decent tasting protein powder in nothing but the egg whites and it tastes good. Sometimes for my bedtime drink I will just mix some pure caseinate, pure whey isolate, and lots of cinnamon (I love cinnamon....makes everything taste good and it is good for you) with egg whites, and it ain't the best tasting, but not bad and gets the job done.

I've used whites before and loved them

plus they are good to cook, just pour right into the pan for scrambled eggs, I cant break shells without eating half of them so these are nice

Because it is a Triple Isolate (and the only triple isolate on the market) it will be thinner than most blends, since it does through the isolation process.
Some people like this, because it mixes instantly, but if you are used to a thicker shake, IsoBolic is not.

As I said before, I did like the vanilla and chocolate very much.....I think I prefer the vanilla. With vanilla, you can add other flavors, such as fresh or frozen fruit, almond butter, chocolate or carob to make any shake or flavor you want....or, it is great by itself for the bedtime shake.

You CAN make a nice thick drink with this.....just use less liquid. Here is a really great tasting and thick blend.....use the chocolate flavored almond milk, which is already thick and creamy, with the vanilla flavor....delicious.
Another great tasting and very healthy and thick drink is to use a half of an avocado, your choice of water, skim milk, or rice or almond milk, with two scoops of the vanilla flavor. If using the water, you can add a couple of tbs. of non-fat yogurt....very healthy and delicious. I have other great tasting mixes that thicken as well, but then, I am sure you guys have your own favorites as well.

i liked vanilla the best, then rasberry, then chocolate. I used them all in water though
