are you excercizing? there is a book out that dinoii recommended to me called the new glucose revolution complete guide to glycemic index values. is a great book that talks about carbohydrates that we eat and which ones raise your blood sugar more quickly which turns into fat if not used. you will probably be surprised at which foods have a high glycemic index(which is the foods that affect your blood sugar the most). its only about 6 bucks from amazon.com.

Wedg and I really agree here short__, what are your goals? 5'7" and 180 lbs. What are you looking to do? What is current BF% (I can approximate with those values but the question still comes up)?
btw: the average height for the adult male is officially: 5'8" - you really are "short but not so short" ... I bet in certain shoes - you can at least boast about being average - just razzing ya! :P

If this post is serious, let me be the first to say, your carb intake is too high if you're wanting to cut bodyfat. Unless you're doing more cardio than Lance Armstrong. What does your current diet involve?
#1 - What you drink? 1 Gallon of Water a day
#2 - Exercise? 30 minutes of cardio 4 x's week. Walking is the easy way out, get your pulse between 130-155 & hold is there for 1/2 hour.
#3 - No Breads, No pastas.
Breakfast-4 egg whites 1/2 cup oats, Lunch- 6oz. Chicken Breast, 1/2 cup brown rice, broccoli, Dinner - 4oz. Lean Meat, 1 cup steamed mixed veggies. Late-Nite - 4 oz. lean meat. Snacks - midmorning/afternoon-plain beef jerky or a 23g serving of protein powder. If you did something similar to this, you'd drop your Bodyfat % quickly. Doing cardio early in the morning before you eat is best, b/c you jack up your metabolism, & you're not just burning through the calories you just ate. Eating 5-6 smaller meals throughout training periods will produce better results.
Your diet depends on what your training regimine will be, also depends a little on your supplementation & what it requires. Choose a workout schedule that you know you can accomplish, then find supplements that seem to work best with that. Training & supplement timing is important.
What are your training plans/goals? that's what it comes down to. Bottom line, no product will help you lose fat & gain muscle properly by itself, it's all about the diet & cardio & lifting.
As far as new supplement's, I'm about to start a completely new cycle with new products. Starting my first cycle of SNS CRE2, BSN Nitrix, ON 100% Whey, Labrada's v-60 (protein blend), I might throw in a cycle of Nutrex's 1-tu.
Anybody had good results from SNS CRE2? I've been on Nutrex's Vitargo CGL w/ good results, but I'm tired of those nasty drinks!

Why would you get 100% Whey and V-60?
When would you use one versus the other?
