yes all proteins powders have BCAA in them the amount of each differs though. amino acids are what make up proteins.

If you want a good powder that has casein and a mix of other proteins, go with ProV60. I take half a serving before bed and I eat some cottage cheese
at this time also.

Yeah its a Labrada product. With respect to the whey protein digestion, the presence of other protein types may slow the digestion of whey protein, but not by much. The key here is your fat intake at this time. Depending on the fat content of the milk, this may slow down the release of amino acids. But, remember, this is whey protein we're talking about here.
ProV60 contains Casein, Whey, Egg and some soy. This is ideal before bed because the casein is released slowly. Catablism is the big enemy over the course of the night that you want to fend off. The whey is good because it satisfies immediate amino acid needs for up to 2 hours, and the casein works for up to 5 hours - so you get the extended amino acid protection.
If you're not a big cottage cheese fan the protein at this time is good on it's own, but I like to use the cottage cheese also because its filling. 0% - of course.

You can have the shake with some milk after, the taste is a lil better, hopefully its skim or half percent though, u need lil to no fat, and you wanna keep your shake at a 2:1 carb:pro, and I'd go with about .5g of yer bw for the carbs, this needs to come mostly from simple sugars but some complex carbs are good to prolong the digestion process. Try not to go over about 45g for the protein and the 2:1 is not a science, if u have 100g of carbs and 40 of protein, its fine.

thanks for the info B-Natural. ill stick to water for the mix of my protein. from what i read, Milk is 80% casein. which if i mixed with whey protein it would take more time to digest. which is a bad idea for taking right after a hard workout. here's how my schudule is workout at 8:30. get home at 10 take a protein drink, wait awhile then take my ZMA before bed. can i drink milk after the ZMA ??
