SHBG binds to your testosterone. Do the levels of SHBG increase with the introduction of exogenous testosterone/other coumpounds which raise testosterone? Or is the mechanism inhibited because of the increase in testosterone from the exogenous source?

SHBG binds to your testosterone and renders it metabolically useless. If you take exogenous testosterone you wont have to worry about SHBG but you will have to contend with the fact that you'll be producing none of your own testosterone after a short cycle. So, in a sense, because of almost total endogenous testosterone manufacture, an exogenous test cycle does defeat SHBG.

If you want to overcome SHBG naturally, on the other hand, I suggest using a test booster, and lowering your body fat and hormone profile in favor of testosterone.

I sort of agree with Clayton, but think this is more a matter of what "exogenous" substance we are talking about. For instance, let's consider something highly aromatizable - if you are now incorporating an increased estrogenic conversion state, the potential to drive SHBG up is there.

Also - cycle DURATION imparts some effect - the fact that thyroidal output has cross-over feedback can hurt with excessively long cycles. So, as you may imagine longer is NOT always better.

Appreciate this response as well. I was thinking along the lines of the first part of your response.
