I feel like I have reached my plateau. I Currently weigh 175, but I have been lifting for 4 years and started at 140. I want to get to about 190 or so. I have a very solid diet. I put in 2700 calories a day eating very good food. However, I haven't really gained much in the last year and am getting extremely frustrated. I have done everything strictly just on Isopure protein, but other then that I haven't taken any others.

So! I need your guys' help.

If I was going to spend some money on supplements what would you recommend? I have some NO2 I got awhile back from a friend but have yet to use it so I could use that with whatever else I get.

I am 22 years old if that helps. I really have thought about getting some test or something to that extent to bump me up, but I want to do this naturally if I can help it. Even if I did, I have no clue how to get it.

What kind of creatine do you think I should take? Is the Ce2 stuff from the institute of Nebraska as good as the reviews I have read?

Thanks for any help you guys can offer me.

Try this stack:

Preworkout: BSN NO-Xplode
Postworkout: SNS CVM Xtreme

I think you will be very pleased with the results of that stack.

I myself would move to a pH. Although you said you would rather do it naturally, I really think you would be happy with a light cycle if you did it. Otherwise, I dont remember if you said anything about just gaining weight or if BF was an issue, however, you might want to throw in a weightgainer as well. But hey, thats me. From the sounds of it though, your frame is naturally small and you have made great gains, so BF would not be potentially as much of a problem for someone like you. Other than that, your creatines are probably your best bet for what you are looking for. Dont ask me which kinds, though, because I have just started experimentig with the creatines.

I agree with Click on this one...maybe add Designer Supp Activate for a little test boost.

Hey Kruser;

Just looking at your weight and caloric intake alone, not knowing what other activities your into (run, cycle, etc.) and your daily caloric intake being 2,700 calories, you’ll need approximately 3,787 calories a day just to maintain your current lifestyle which is 1,087 calories less than what currently ingesting. Workout all you want but, if your not consuming enough food, you won’t make any gains.

Your only 22. Before you get into PH’s and all kinds of supplements, properly increase and balance your calorie, fat and carb intake. After you've gained the additional weight, then you can add some supplements for that extra kick. Use the PH's as a last resort.

37-3800 may be a little high in calories, but yes u do need an increase in cal.s increase slowly, a rapid increase will only lead to fat storage. Increase weekly by 500, so your daily intake from here will be 3200 (2700
+500), then next wk 3700 and u should be good at 3700. If u find that your weight does not increase in the wks to come, then increase by 500 again.

As for supp.s bad idea to have someone jus throw a ph idea out there, its a quick fix to a lifelong goal (get F****N big), you need to progress into those stages and if u need those stages. Right now, most would agree with click hit up the creatine/arginine supp.s. And the whole "my friend gave me a bottle of -----" is not a good approach to takin supps. Research what u need at your age. Right now its a high caloric intake, which includes high protein carbs, and moderate fats (about .5g/lb of bw). The second is a creatine which is still a benchmark for growth in the lifting world. And arginine is becoming even more popular as a pump agent (this is in your no-xplode) and is also in the cvm xtreme (creatine is in both as well). From there u will need the usual supporting cast of a multi-vitamin, a vit c pill, and some EFA's (essential fatty acids omega 3,6,9) an omega 3 pill will work fine or omega complex. Along with a good protein powder, ON Gold standard is good, Dymatize Elite, Muscle Milk, and your Isopure is ok. I would agree with a weight gainer if u do not think u can get your calorie needs with whole foods, plus its quick and easy if yer in a rush or for a postworkout insulin spike. Good luck, lift hard, eat big, and get some rest

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I appreciate it. I do have a very small frame and am currently at 5.5% body fat.

I think I am going to go with the No-explode and SNS CVM Xtreme stack that clickster recommended. I have read some good reviews on both.

I used to be a BSN fan when it was just a hole in the wall company. Now that they've spent millions on an advertising campaign Ive lost faith in their crediblilty. Anything that has to oversell itself has some type of defiency. A good product sells itself.

Ive now converted to the "underdog", low-stream Vyo-tech. Id have to recommend Nitrobolic Extreme as opposed to NO-Xplode. This L-norvaline seems to be promising.

From 140 to 175 in 4yrs isn't anywhere near your genetic potential.. B-Natural hit it on the head, slowly increase your calories over time, add maybe a creatine product and you'll be all set.. Good work getting to where you are now, but to go further you just gotta get a good plan together and remember PH/hormones and such are tools that are used at the very onset of maxing out your genetic ability to grow naturally..

I'm sure you'll get plenty of good info from the brothers on this site! ;)

it's all good UNC, we need more than jus one person tellin ppl about how an increase in calories are important. Otherwise, ppl jus don't feel that it is that necessary for growth
