That is one of my favorite things to do. I just think it is crazy how these guys can do the feats of strength that they do. They are amazing athletes and great entertainment..

I am not sure I can name all the events but there was this one where they were lifting these enourmous poles (for lack of better description)and flipping them over. I was woooooed by that one.

Some of the things they do are plain ridiculous. You ever see them squat the front end of a school bus?

thats nuts, but i think it is crazier when they squat the kegs because they drop the kegs into the huge basket thing they squat, the impact of each additional 100lbs or what ever it is being dropped on them must be killer

I'm suprised you dont see that many serious injuries in the competitions. Some of those things they do are plain insane.

I've sold my tv a couple of years ago. Back to years I was watching these competitions. Anno my favourite was Manfred Hoeberl. He was huge! Holy Christ! Those arms...

i dont think there is a limit on any type supp., even roids. but those guys are so big genetically i dont think they need them much... there all around 35 and at least 6'0 or 6'2, most about 6'4 all at least 300. genetics is on there side to the extreme. its ridiculous. i was reading, one of those guys (a current competitor) on his second lift ever on the bench, it was 225, he was like 14. thats crazy.

They're a blast to watch, but all the contests they show seem to be the same one's over and over with Magnus Magnussen. I think I've seen him win the same one about 8 timesw now. Either that or the one he loses cause of a hurt arm or shoulder lol. Still amazing to watch though.

The major injuries are kind of infrequent, but when they happen its...
Let's put it this way: Mark Phillipi dropped a car on his knee (literally -- leg folded under him, car rail hit about 4" above his knee). You can imagine I'm sure.
At some point you have to wonder if the organizers are just trying to see how far they can f*ck with those guys... Here's an idea. Pick up 2 refrigerators and run 100m with them, okay? Sure... lol

i do like to watch it when it is on. but i dont plan my day around it or anything. and i have actually seen marcus pujanofski (yes i know, i just butchered his name) a few times at x sport in chicago. wow, that man his just...... wow. and he eats massive amounts of chocolate a day with keeping a perfect body. while most strongmen tend to be more fat.
