Did you bump your head and forget about Rich Franklin???
Diego Sanchez has dominated everyone he has faced including Nick Diaz who is a warrior (KO'd Lawler).
I think Mike Swick will prove to be the real deal as well.

if you like MMA you should watch Pride instead of UFC. The fighters ar emuch bigger and much more talented in Pride.
My favorite style has to be BJJ.
My favorite fighters are Shogun and CroCop

Saku is the man! Liddell is also great to watch, never know when he's gonna KO someone. Back in the old days, Ken Shamrock used to be the man. Never really liked the Gracies though... probably one of the reason's why Sakuraba is so likeable. Ha Ha Ha.

Yeah should be a good fight but hughes is so strong and gifted, I take hughes by submission, now if it were the young gracie I would take him.
What about my boy Andrei vs Slyvia? I say Andrei by TKO(strikes) this time.

I got to see a GFC event and it was a ton of fun. A bunch of the gracies fought, and a lot of them lost. I was only impressed by one of them, i have no idea which one, but the guy could take a beating like nobody else. He was getting the shit kicked out of him, then the other guy was getting tired from punching him and Gracie just attacked and knocked the guy out. It was great.

Yeah I saw this clip of one them fighting and he was toying with the other guy he could have submitted him like 10 times but instead he kept on putting different moves on him it was awesome.

I started doing this stuff arounf the time the first UFC came out and trained w/ a guy who used to fight in Japan before pride. Over in Japan their is Shoot fighting which is basically MMA. I trained for a long time and was going to fight a stand up fight in Long beach back in 96 I was going into my senior year in college and started thinking what the hell am i doing . My body was taking a beating from training and lifting I took a long hard look at reality and figured I might win this fight ,but my talents were not good enough to go all the way. I've never lost a fight when it counted (had the piss kicked out of me from some guys that ended up going to Japan though) I never got knocked out in training, but i had my shin split pretty deep and my nose bent a bit. I would rather save the brain. I really enjoy it i Still trainin off and on and have practiced many arts . I think the goal at least in my case was to be able to protect what was mine, and i accomplished that. I might take up Judo soon, and up in N. hollywood there is a guy who is the legend in grappling named gene label and Gokor, also larry hartsell is one of Bruce Lee's top living students and he teaches trapping which is very practical for street figting. I took trapping for a few years off and on and it is great because it is a nasty inside fighting technique that leads to locks and holds.

Yeah Andrei is so underrated I hate it, I wish he would go to pride or some of those like Fedor, CroCop, Rua, Rampage or any of them come to the UFC and fight him he so fast with his hands and everyone seems to forget that he was and is a Russian Sambo champion so he is and has shown he can take care of his self on the ground.

Hey Dizzle,
You live in SoCal? There are some pretty cool schools there. Scientific Wrestling is starting up a training site, Gene and Gokor are excellent from what I hear, and my teacher runs a traditional Japanese Dojo (nothing against Judo, but I highly recommend u check out my teacher instead). PM me if you want the web address.

Yeah I know he doesn't look like he would be a cop, Flex had a nice piece on him, He started lifting weights cause kids use to beat him up, and when he was 18 he join the force and got into Sambo and became a champ, awesome shit he's the man.

Where in So cal? No offense taken. I have done full contact all the way to non practical get your ass kicked karate. I know what works and what does not. I usually lose in the ground fighting if it's just that w/ my buddy who was a college wrestler and went to state. All around my game is tight, but if i jsut picked one my stand up is much better , I have wicked Tai kicks, and I love the head- butts, there is nothing better than hitting the soft part on ones nose with the hard part of your head, shin kicks are great ways to drop someone lower to go for a knee to the face, and i'm not beyond stomping someone's nuts, I go a little nuts and I refuse to get beat when it counts.

I have been considering cross training in Systema (Vlad's style) for a while now. Check out the site and definitely watch the videos page.

I do avoid getting in trouble mostly because of my training. 1- You don't know how badly you can hurt someone. 2- It would not look well for you in a court of law, since you are trained to hurt people.
