Hello,
Anyone use a BowFlex for working out? If so, can you post workout schedules? Most things that I've read that are BowFlex oriented recommend working out everything (i.e., all major muscle groups) for 20 mins/day three days a week. Other posts on the forum and readers, however, seem to suggest working unique muscles every day (i.e., arms one day, legs the next, etc --- I'm over implying to state point).
I'd like to dedicate 30 mins/day of intense workouts for 6 days a week for exercising on the BowFlex. Dioniii's posts have not encouraged my interests in running/jogging. :P Going to a gym isn't a good option in my area....MUCH driving.
Thanks.

if the gym is not an option the bowflex is a good back up i have one and i really busy days that i cant get to the gym but want to get a good pumps ill use mine. If you can get past the price you can use it. I look at it this way if something comes up and cant make it to the gym this is better than nothing

Thanks Max. From what I've read, it's the best single piece of workout equipment that can be purchased. It's setting about 5" from me as I type this... Just looking for work-out suggestions on it.
Thanks!

when i use it i just look through the book that sent with it and see what work outs look good. I do like the flat bench that you can do with the new one and i have the lat pull down and i love that for tricep pull downs also like doing curls on them seem to get good range of motion

i think you can do most of the typical lifts with the bowflex, bench, incline, presses, pull downs, curls, just do em all

If the gym is really that far, you can consider investing in powerblocks - my choice for best piece of equip. away from the gym.

While you save money on cardio equipment :P and remain dedicated to your program, your next additions should be an olympic weight set with barbell and full power rack. That is the equipment you could make a lifestyle out of.
In addition, you may find books and internet info on "Dinosaur Training" helpful in your pursuits.
Good Luck

Huh - those are interesting max. I wonder if they are as easy to change weight as the powerblocks?
