Hello,

Are there any problems taking Hot-Rox and Creatine E2 Matrix concurrently? I've read a bit about Hot-Rox, and it looks like it doesn't cause harm to muscle production--- "[Hot-Rox] preserves or even promotes muscle-mass gains".

Also, any suggestions on when/how much to take? I'm thinking 5g Creatine/day (before work-out) and 2 capsules Hot-Rox/day (one in morning, one in evening).

Thanks,
Cody

im guessing your thinking of taking 5 grams of e2 matrix.
i think the dosage per day is 3 grams=4 pills so to do 5 grams you would take 6-7 pills a day. that would probably be fine, but i think there is another post that talks about thermos and creatine, ill try to find it

I never take creatine and thermo's at the same time. Thermo's work as dieuretics and creatines elevate water retention so in my opinion they would be slightly conteracting each othr.

Dinoiii doesnt agree with me but i stick to my claim that if you want to get the most out of each supplement you should take them seperate

Wow,

I won acknowledgement without even chiming in. I am spending too much time on X Factor right now.

Noob: What are your goals and what do you hope to achieve with use of both products?

I think that Hot Rox is not your "typical" thermogenic so rules may or may not apply. They are ways to govern a diuretic effect should that be your only concern, however. Again - look at original creatine research ... it just simply doesn't make sense...if your goals are to maximize water loss for competition purposes, maybe Wedg makes a point - but I gather from your statements (though presumptory on my behalf) that competition water removal, etc... is NOT your interest.

Hello,

Dinoiii, I'm wanting to lose approximately ~5 lbs fat (I'm in decent shape now, but I have a bit of fat over abs) and I'd like to build ~10 lbs muscle (this is more a longer term goal). I'm 5'5" & 120lbs. Competition is of no interest to me--- just looking for a little healthier body. ;)

Wedgylx, I would normally agree to what you're saying, but Hot Rox doesn't see to be the normal thermo from what I've read. Maybe I'm wrong...

Thanks.

what do you mean by "free meal" ?

I have a couple "my choice" meals built into the meal plan. These "my choice" meals aren't as strict as "regular meals". There for my sanity. ;)

Oh... I think it's formally called a "cheat meal". :P

Some people find it detrimental to use a creatine and a thermo at the same time, but I am not opposed to it. The main thing is to keep your water intake high. When you are on creatine you need to have a good water intake and thermogenics make you drop water, so just make sure your water intake is sufficient.

The recommended dose on the Creatine E2 Matrix gives you 4 grams of Creatine Ethyl Ester per day, which is sufficient in most people. If you want to try to go above that, it's your choice, but remember that since CEE is much more absorbable than regular Creatine Monohydrate, there is probably no need to.

FYI, I've been taking Hot Rox and Centrum Performance the last 3 days (other supplements haven't arrived yet) and I seem to have considerably more energy than normal. Maybe it's just psychological, but this energy boost is awesome! Previously, I wasn't taking any supplements or vitamins.
