On October 22nd, 2004, the president signed the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2004 into law. Because the bill was written to become effective 90 days after its signing, it would appear that the effective date is January 20, 2005.

Just like the pre-ban of ephedra, many consumers are going to be loading up on inventory during this grace period. Manufacturers are running specials now to help alleviate trashing product come mid January. Expect the best selection NOW.

Is this the end of quality bodybuilding supplements? Absolutely not! Manufacturers have been well aware of this scenario for years and have been working diligently to keep the industry moving. Only a handful of our products will vanish, leaving thousands of quality products available. Stay in touch to keep up on the latest industry innovations.

6OXO is not on the ban list (http://www.discountanabolics.com/page/DA/CTGY/Steroidal), but by looking at it's ingredients it would appear that it should be included in the ban.

To my knowledge, there are a few items not on the ban list. This does not mean they will be around for ever. The DEA before could have added "andro" to the ban list, but they needed the ability to prove its anabolic properties. This new bill removes this formality and gives the DEA the ability to add supplements to the ban list just by proving it’s a hormone.
