I work in a grocery store and while hard at work the other day looking at the protien in diff. brands of tuna noticed that i can of pink salmon contained 84 grams of protien with a cost of only 98 cents. I tried it and it tasted like tuna. i was just going to spread the word and ask if anyone else has ever tried it as a daily protien source.

I usually buy Tuna at BJ's by the boat load...no pun intended.
I noticed that they had pink salmon, but I didn't even look at the label because of the price. I'll have to keep an eye out for some better prices and give it a shot. That's allot of protein! I guess you'd have to compare the Mercury content and saturated fat content with Tuna to see if it's as good as it looks.

Salmon is a great source of protein, and Omega 3 fatty acids that support brain function, hormone profile and muscle building.
If possible, eat your salmon fresh. Although the canned salmon is OK from time to time, toxicity issues related to the canning of the fish and sodium concentrations can be a concern in some cases.
I like Sashimi, personally. I find its a great way to get my salmon. And, a bit of salmon with soy sauce and a wasabi? So good :)
But yeah, eat salmon, it's good for you and its a great source of protein and omega oils.
