This is crazy. I suggest everyone goes to www.usfa.biz and writes their senators and congressman. Let them know that we won't stand to have our freedoms taken from us.

I think that many people do not truly understand the type of danger that their personal freedom to buy dietary supplements is truly in. Many people seem to wait for others to step up and do something about it, but every single person and voice counts. Whether it's an e-mail or fax to senators, or helping in another means, individuals need to lead by example in helping our industry and it's consumers be heard.

Faxes and written letters are best, I heard that when they get e-mails, they don't read them and just send a reply saying they will get to it before they delete it.. Steve, you are right, people don't realize that this could cause a 2lb tub of protein to go from cheap to expensive.. They want total control...

i agree, the fda should stay out of supplements. but i do feel that there should be more individual companies that test the product labels/claims and ingredients. i know a few supps have not contained what they say they do, so if some individual company started looking into the quality of the supps on the market that would be good-in my opinion
