I am currently at 250lbs, and sit at about 25% bf. I will be beginning a cycle of SD soon. I expect that my wieght will increase, Im not terribly worried about that, its the BF% that I need to focus on. Anywho my question is this. Do I need to taking protein while I'm using the SD considering my weight and BF%? How do I figure out exactly how much if so, and what would you recommend? And lastly, what recommendations do you have for keeping the muscle I have, plus the muscle I put on with the SD, while lowering that BF% so I can keep my Uncle Sam happy? Thanks again....

I dont think you sound ready for sd yet, but thats just me. I would personally loose some bf and maybe put on some lbm, then do some research and try sd. Just my opinion though!

whats your training expereince like?

i would put the sd aside for now. focus on you diet and training. mabe some caffine, r-ala, and a good thermo like MAN scorch, but focus on your diet. you really dont sound ready for sd yet, work on the basics and take it slow.......

Well, I have been lifting off and on since highschool. Presently I'm 33. To say Im a beginner would be way off. But to say I've 100% serious about it in all that time would also be way off. My weight went up in high school and has never come back down. I fight my own bad habits, plus generations of overweight genetics. However right now I am more interested in putting on muscle than I am with getting skinny. There is about a 85% chance I'll be getting out of the Army in the next year when my latest term is up, so the BF% isnt as important to me as it used to be. I do a fair amount of cardio, though duties keep from doing as much as I feel I really need, but I do what I can. Any thanks for your input, and any other thoughts you have are more than welcomed.

If you must use a PH, perhaps switching to something else would benefit you more than the SD, SD bulks rather well, to lean out I like Prost., Ergo, Finigenx; I think you'd even cut up better using Promag. but I haven't tried it yet, that one is just speculation. But I'd think about switching that PH and cleaning the diet, you asked about protein, I'd switch my ratio's up, try for 50/30/20 on the pr/cb/ft and cut my calories slightly--if that means using prot. suppz or not depends on your diet, I mean most of the time I use prot. suppz constantly but I don't know your calorie intake or where you need to adjust and be at from this. How's your strentgh/muscle tone? How long have you continuously been training LATELY? You're not just gonna start when you pop open that bottle of PH's are you? Give me some training and diet info, I need more input form your end before I can determine what I'd do.

I always a "recreational lifter" I guess you could call it, meaning when i have time and schedule permits, but I been back into it hard and heavy for about 3 months now. On deployment, its really about all there is for stress relief. I just got my SD in the mail yesterday and popped my first one today. Anywho, I normally lift pretty heavy, at least heavy for me, and I don't plan to change that while cycling the SD, if anything up the intensity a bit. My diet, oh boy. I wish I could claim to be keeping strict track of what goes in nutrient wise and how much. But What I do is try to keep to the fish and fowl as much as possible, pasta, and some veggies. Though as my present weight will attest this hasnt always been the case. Since new years, no candy, pastries or sodas of any kind have entered my system,, which I am rather proud of. But I'm off track here, I don't have a real count for you as far as ratios go, only that I try to eat as healthy as the chow hall will allow. Diet wise I am a bit of a mess, I rarely eat more than 2 times a day out here, and have found in the past that if I do eat more often than that, in fact if I smell food more often than that, I put on a pound or two nearly instantly. So I stick to the lifting and the cardio and hope for the best. I realize this is not answering the question you asked me, but I hope it at least gives a little better view of who you're dealing with and how if not what I eat... thanks

You popped the first one today, sounds like you're committed to the idea, so I'll jump aboard and roll with you on this one, but my call would have been to hold up another month or two and cut or swap the type of PH; Other suppz you're concurrently running (Milk Thistle, cranberry, multi's)? What's your PCT looking like? Clean those eating habits up or you're spinning your wheels, I think my ratios of 50/30/20 would serve you well. I have a hard time buying 2 feedings serve you better than multiple ones, but I'll take your word for it.

About 2 weeks into the cycle the plan is to start the rebound along with the SD, then continue the rebound after the cycle till i run out. I'll also probably throw my Xtest back into the mix after the cycle to help out the rebound. I am presently not taking any additional supps along with the SD. A multivitamin will be in the mix shortly. I've never shown a great aromitization sensativity along with with prior PH's I've taken, so I'm gonna go ahead and follow my body on this. As far as less meals a day, Most probably they don't serve me as well nutritionally as many meals a day would, I have simply found that I have more trouble keeping the extra fat off with many meals a day. I will be addressing my portion control problem soon as well, and I think that will be a big help. (I'm gathering my willpower for the smaller portions) If I run across something with Milk Thistle in it in my little area of the world without having to order it, then I might throw that in jsut for a little extra peace of mind. Other than that, I'm just gonna go ahead and do the cycle of the SD, lift my arse off, then once the cycle is over, I'll take stock of how it went, and look into some cutting so People can see the work I've been putting in lol. Thanks again...

I would probably hold off on the rebound till completely done with the cycle or else you're kinda spinning your wheels. I say you need some Milk thistle I'd order it or Perfect Cycle by AX.
