What is the best tasting protein you've ever used?

Muscle Milk? I feel sorry for you, if your tongue is teeling your brain that, any of the American Whey proteins are way better tasting, everyone I know thinks MM has a weird after taste which it does, Its a good one but not the best.

Have you tried the ErgoPharm proteins??? They are the best tasting ones out there.

I have to agree with Chris, I was very impressed with Muscle Milk. Nectar kiwi strawberry and lemonade flavors never get old for me.

Depending on your protein needs, I would have to say for a whey isolate, Nectar is top-notch, and for a sustained release protein, I think our IsoBolic Raspberry Yogurt is in a league of it's own....

I've got to be honest here and I am sure almost everyone will agree. The desire isn't to find the best tasting protein, because they all taste like protein. I am interested in the protein that is drinkable time and time again and does the most for me. Muscle milk definately tastes good. Hell, when you have a scientist on your team dedicated to taste.....it better taste good. As far as quality though, I gotta give it up to you Rodney! That Isobolic is top notch. It is a bit more than pure whey so I use a regualar whey in the morning, but use isobolic before bed. Gotta tell ya the Mrs. doesn't approve.

I agree, that is why I like the Ergopharm proteins. They are high quality, great tasting and you can take them without getting tired of them.. I do not like the taste of Muscle Milk, but that is a personal thing.. I will have to try the Isobolic for sure.. Rodney, you know I wouldn't mind a sample. wink wink.. lol

I am going to go with Biotest's GROW!, even though they have stuck with the standard chocolate and vanilla, it is a good protein, great taste. I do like the IsoBolic Raspberry Yogurt, I have to admit, it is pretty addictive. Someone metioned American Whey, I don't want to disparage, but I can tell a protein is low quality when I get terrible bloating and gas, that American Whey stuff was pretty strong on the stomach, probably was just me.

you have to take into consideration the quality of the protein....Musclemilk really isnt a good choice of protein unless you're on an extreme bulk.

If quality isnt required then I guess my favorite protein shake is a frappe :lol:

has anyone tried maximun protien by southern pharmacutics. a friend of mine gave me a bottle to try and i have to say mixed in water it is one of the best that i have ever tasted, even without milk taste like chocolate milk to me.

GNC has it as one of there new products. I have tried the eas brands and they are good. but this is by far the best tasting protien i have ever had and even taste great in just water

Biotest Grow! hands down for chocolate + vanilla.



Now, fruit flavors, I like: Syntrax's Nectar (all flavors are great), Molecular's Whey Fruity, and Primaforce's Watermelon.



Also like SAN's Chocolate Peanut Butter Infusion, but cannot eat this day in and day out.



There are many I am not fond of or that I have replaced with the aforementioned bunch. I have really been sampling for over 10 years - they keep getting better though.

italion thats where i got it have a friend who works there that gave it to me to try. Its pretty much the same as ON 100% whey but has a little more glutamine in it . Protien and BCCA are all the same

i went to my local nutrition store and was given a few single serving samples of mrps and whey so far i have found that
naturally lean matrix cinnamon oatmeal tastes really good
champion pure whey protein stack strawberry is decent, light flavor, nothing to be unhappy with, but dont get excited about it
cytodyne cytoplex vanilla is also decent and kinda lightly flavored, blended up thicker than isopure, but thinner than myoplex

when i was at my nut store i got other free samples. champion pure whey protein stack straw tastes really weird, somethings not right and it doesnt really taste like straw (i mixed it with milk and blended), vanilla flavor isnt great, again something tastes kinda off, but its not bad
labrada v60 choc ice cream is pretty good, nice and chocolatey

MetRX Supreme whey? The chocolate flavor of that tastes unreal. Kind of like a smore.

I think our IsoBolic Raspberry Yogurt is in a category of it's own for taste. It is a triple isolate, as well, composed of CFM Whey Isolate, Micellar Casein derived from Milk Isolate, and Egg Isolate, so it is the perfect sustained release protein.

Hey stallion - no doubt on the representation of his own company.



However, for that reason though, I wish if anyone that made a post from a company would offer up an option after the obligatory self-promotion (which I do not fault him for).

This would be more of an eye-opener to give hat's off to a company other than your own. I am not unrealistic though. His rationale for doing that would potentially sabotage his own profits, right --> nah ... probably lean toward more credibility.

Something like - "outside of our own ________ raspberry yogurt (which I am required to say), I would go with _________________ as a second option if I really had to." unfortunately, His notion of his protein being the best doesn't mean much - I still would have to decide that.

I will try his sample packs when they come in - I am happy he made that announcement though!

IsoBolic can be taken either as a sustained release protein, in the morning or night, or as a postworkout shake, since the triple isolate formula provides a fast and slow release of aminos into the bloodsteam for the perfect anabolic and anti-catabolic state.

If you notice he has one of the lowest post on this site of anyone he lets his company and products do the talking. We stand behind all of our products, and I will put any one of our products up against a competitor's similar product!
If any competitor wants to take me up on this, why dont we do a NO Challenge? I will put up our AE2 vs. any other NO or Arginine-type pill product, and we will have a Discount Anabolics forum member be the judge...They can take AE2 first, or last, so we can prove to everyone that AE2 is the best NO product in the industry.....

I think that you would be a good canidate for an NO test the problem is that i like to hear real word results and sometimes the stuff you talk about is hard to understand. All i want to know is can i trust the company will they be there if i need them and does there product work for a majority of people. just wanted to let you know that i got me syntex nectur protien in tonight. I got carribiean cooler and the lemonade. I took the cooler tonight after my work out and loved it. I like pinapple so i like the taste of it in there. The only thing that i would recommend is to make the pineapple taste a little stronger otherwise mixed up really noce no foam and went down nice and smooth very good change of pace

cinn roll-alright, different, not something i will buy, but wasnt bad 6/10
banana nut bread-didnt like it, very strange 3/10

primaforce wpi grape-good, kinda like grape medicine, but much better, 6-7/10

whey gourmet
orange cream-good, just like the name says, creamy orange, 7/10
vanilla ice cream-again, just like the name sounds, a very good vanilla 7-8/10

whey cooler
lemon ice tea-protein should not taste like ice tea, this stuff did taste exactly like ice tea, but i didnt like it at all, but if you are a big fan of ice tea you probably will

max it doesnt get really thick like an mrp, but it is thicker than water, i guess i would say it is in the middle, but it is more just smooth and creamy than it is thick, sorry-kinda hard to explain, hopefully you can get some info out of this post

Wow Max, I didn't see this post before. My apologies for not responding. My "call out" to Steve was not at the time what you think. See, that is the problem with someone not accustomed to Gangsta trying to speak the language at the time. :lol:

As far as a company I had trusted. Yes, Yes, Yes however the two are not related. I mean stick around long enough in the industry, I am convinced you will get burned and unfortunately, there is a reason that was NOT disclosed as to why when I told you I attempted totry to begin a company years ago why I did not - there was a timinig issue, but obviously there was more than that - that I will leave alone for now.

And again, the "real world" argument. I maintain that 80% of "results" are solely perception - I do not say supplements are bad if employed correctly....again - do you think I would be here? I do find it a shame that you are not more wary about what you ingest - but again it is your entitlement for whatever.

Supplement companies are allowed a sigh of relief...I am not out to "get anyone" - I certaily don't have that kind of time. In the same breath however, I need to know the science for my own particular rationale...if people want to learn what's going on with a product they ingest then they can be entertained minimally by my plight and decide based on REALITY NOT the "REAL WORLD."

9/10 people you hear post positive results on forums are tough to follow max, because they too tend to be behind a particular company. I probably have access to more real people taking supplements than most people could imagine in the clinic daily and I can tell you that their results certainly do not show me they are impressed with a company's supps (in contrast to what is preached on forums). And that being said I will not post what they are taking per se, but allow companies an opportunity to defend their products. Hell - if it isn't an issue, there should be no problem with the defense, right (ask Bill W.) I am NOT here for some motive other than to learn more, educate, and aid in people reaching their physique goals.

If you want a great tasting protein, just wait until we release Anabolic Protein. We have had the formulation done for 5 months now, we have just been working on the flavoring ever since. % months later, and 5 different flavoring companies leter, last weekend we FINALLY have found a blend that we feel is some of the best tasting protein out there. Onviously feedback will tell, but both Eric and I have tried every protein under the sun, and when we finally got to this sample, we were both like "WOW!" So I am really excited to have these coming out soon. We will only have vanilla and chocolate, but I think you will all really like them!

same here, but most people that go for fruit flavored protein say that nothing compares to nectar

update on the labrada samples i got

lean body vanilla is good, but not as good as myoplex

low carb lean body chocolate is just like chocolate milk, very tastey

lean body breakfast apple cinnamon oatmeal was very good and thick, better than the other two, i liked it a lot

i got more samples and will post how those are once i drink 'em
