chris, wondering if it would be possible for you to sell individual sample packs of different proteins and flavors so we could customize something like an 8 pack of samples of our choice (from a list provided by you)?

Most samples are illegal to sell....most actually say "not for resale"....because he gets them for free too (i beleive)
but that is a real good idea, if its legal you can but I'd buy in on it

forgot about that not for resale idea
this might work-chris opens up a variety of mrps and sells the individual packs out of them however people want to customize their sampler 8 pack (or what ever the number would be)
for instance-
1 myoplex
1 nytro pro
1 muscle milk
1 labrada lean body
1 mesotecy
1 isopure
1 micellean
1 dorian yates

So that we're clear,
this idea which I am not saying is a bad one is solely based on tasting different powders and NOT caring about the actual ingredients (macros or extras - i.e.- micronized creatine, etc...) which do differ in many of the "samples" listed in the aforementioned example?
Also how would you propose a retail on such an item as many MRP retail tags vary? And due to the fact that some powders would likely be called upon more frequently than others, what is Chris to do with overstock on certain pdts. once that starts becomming commonplace after people side with certain powders? Likely I am assuming it would be justified to raise a price tag on such a "variety pack."
MaybeI am just playing devil's advocate, but it seems there would minimally need to be some kinks worked out prior to release of this kind of offer. What do you think Chris?

yeah, i agree, and about the macro's the customer could pick which ever mrp he/she wanted, so if they liked the ingredients of say 3 different mrps they could try all the flavors of each of those 3 mrps to find out which one they like the best. but like you said chris would probably get stuck with numerous individual packs that people wouldnt care to buy and to make up for it the price would probably have to be raised, so most likely, this would not work, i just thought it would be interesting

No, great question - I think it had to be asked if you wanted an answer to it. I just wanted to point out some thoughts is all. If I convinced you in those three little paragraphs though which really was just me thinking aloud...I would be curious to see Chris make it happen.

but the more you think about the idea the more it seems there would be too many complications for the small profit/benefit chris would get out of doing it

I'm gong to lay this out as best I can and hopefully get some good feedback.
Guys in our warehouse are honestly drenched in sweet at the end of the day hunting down product to fill the orders we've got. This is not to say we can't handle the challenge, but just to give you an idea of what it's like in shipping. In trial periods b4, we've tried selling small items, such as individual bars. We had to drop this idea quick and this is why. Let’s say an order had 15 types of individual bars on it in all varieties. Now let’s say that one of these 15 bars was out of stock. Here is the problem. Do we ship the remaining bars and ship the one bar once it shows up? The cost of the shipping on the second package would eliminate the profit from all 15 bars. Do we hold the order until all 15 bars are in stock? Not really fair to the customer considering the Lean Body MRP bar is on back order because Labrada's bar machine is FUBAR and didn't tell us about it. This stuff happens all the time.
Now this is not to discredit our inventory. I believe our purchasing is top notch. It’s unexpected delays from the manufacture in most cases. Customs, raw ingredient manufactures, machine malfunctions, you name it.
Now I'm not saying no. I will seriously look into this. Problem is I think it would be kind of expensive. What’s the most anyone would pay for one packet of mrp?

probably not enough for you to make a profit.

that was the main idea in my response to this earlier i like the idea but it would be terribly hard and time consuming for the guys at DA to package all the single orders. By the time they are done Chris is right the cost would be way to high

Have you tried calling the manufacturer of the protein you want to try? In most cases, they will send you a sample.
