I ran 2 cycles last year and apparentley did not have enough fiber in my diet or I took so many pills that I developed diverticulosis, which became diverticulitits....man what some pain!!!
After CT scans and Upper endoscopy, and ultra sounds, I am about to start back, I still have P Plex, Hdrol, Epistane and Mdrol left. I would like to take creatine and some NO product but I am scared of stirring up my diverticulosis or make it bad enough that I would need surgery.
Does anyone know anything, I have Googled it but still come up with no information.
Any info very much appreciated, glad to be back.

what did your doctor say about taking a cycle after being diagnosed with something that was caused by taking a cycle? Hes the one to ask

Hmm... I know some anabolic steroids can cause inflammation so that would make me somewhat worried but I'm really not sure. Could be okay, maybe not, don't really know. Creatine and argenine can cause stomach issues for some people too, so I don't really know either. Personally I wouldn't chance it although it may be completely fine. I'de probably just be over worried about something like that.

I do know to be careful about your diet. I'm sure your doctor went over what you shouldn't eat because of it. Follow what he says. Screwing around on your diet can cause major problems. My great aunt has it and she never watches her diet and can't figure out why she keeps having problems. Also I learned from her that if you have it and your constipated do not ever take laxatives as you will end up in the hospital and they will have to cut out part of your intestines and you'll go home with a c bag. Not my idea of a good time.

A laxiative is that bad for it!!! My docotor went over what to eat and not to eat. I am going to the gym tonight, so I am going to start on some NO Shotgun and start from there.

Ha, yeah. It probably doesn't help that it was the fourth time she had been to the hospital for it. I don't mean to see her doctor I mean admitted to the hospital. I love her but still, she's pretty stupid about it. I've never seen someone with diverticulosis eat that many strawberries. Its her own fault.

As long as you take care of yourself you should be fine; but ignore it and sooner or later you'll be pooping into a bag.

Its where areas of the muscle lining in the colon becomes weakend and little pockets of the mucos membrane sort of hang out. Its sort of hard to describe what it really looks like, but I don't think anyone wants a picture posted. Anyway they are very suspetable to infections and blood vessels in them breaking, things like that. So it can cause blood in stools and in some cases enough blood loss to be serious. Plus the problem that you are bleeding into your colon which can cause sepsis, an infection in your blood stream. If the blood supply to the area is cut off too much the section of colon can die and start to rot and it has to be cut out. Or if it pushes out too far it can cause bowel blockages.

Fiber is your best friend here. Also look into aloe vera juice.

I did a heavily researched paper on aloe vera juice and its effects on stomach ulcers, IBS, Chrohn's disease etc...... And yes it help tremendously with imflammation. In fact, its quite a miraculous product.

Divertic sufferer myself.:(
I haven't had a "flare up" in years though.
Fiber, water, and watch the caffeine intake. Caffeine has a way of drying me up and it always starts in the colon for me.
Glutamine will also help repair the intestinal lining as well...I take in at least 4g/day.:)

the more cycles I run, the more GI problems i have (that don't go away). These designers are becoming less and less worth it to me.

I also suspect that issues like this happen more often than is discussed on the boards.
