i am not sure, but i have tried instone's intake performance (mrp) it tasted decent, but it wasnt as thick as myoplex, and i love thick shakes, so it went lower on my list and havent re-bought it

dont know if stallone is owner/ceo of that company or not, but i love rocky and stallone :D

Instone puts out really good supplements but the price tag is really high.

I think Stallone is the spokesperson vs. the pres/CEO

smart marketing though. Who would not believe in "Mr. Balboa's" product not allowing them to win a boxing championship or what have you.

Hey this is a very opinionated post and I have no clue nor care if Stallone is in any way related to the company. Personally if they told me that it was the Pope's product and I would be in great shape if all I simply did was drink

"POPE JUICE"

would I buy it? :?

"POPE JUICE"

would I buy it? :?

If it was a quality supplement, I'd be "John-Paul"ing after every workout

Well I am certain you would be feeling perhaps "holier than thou"

but in the same sense, I ain't ingesting that kind of science bro.

They can claim it will make me "walk on water" and everything!!!

maybe if the pope didnt weigh 80 lbs i would give it a shot

They actually seem to have some pretty good formulas, but they are WAY to expensive in my opinion.

Ok, so admittedly I knew little about the company b/c they chose Stallone and not the Pope, but hey I looked into it and this is a better look at what I think.

* Supposed "Flagship" products:

Lean Fire

-and-

Forza - T

* Evaluation: I really don't see the price argument as they are decently priced for all the ingredients they list I think. However, they seem like "bottom-feeders." Now, what I mean is that anyone who has been around long enough has gotten scammed by similar companies who opt to give you a slum-gullion - we will throw everything in a product and tag it as the be-all end-all (Hot Stuff - Double X, circa late 1980's, early 90's).

There are a couple of flaws in the designs of the two aforementioned products, but they have taken many other people's ideas and based them as a phenomenal new supplement that they have come up with. Forza - T is the worst culprit. Trib, 6-oxo (convenient use of 300 mg dosage/cap), etc... The list is long and one thing they don't take into consideration is how certain things react. Lean Fire is like expensive L-tyrosine, Evodiamine, Green tea, Caffeine Anhydrous. (mind you, certain qty. of each make it questionable). I will spare you the biochem talk, but I am certain to see this company flop by year's end 2005. It certainly is not expense, they are likely to "save" you money by putting all your $$$ into one product vs. each individually - but I guess it would be a questionable waste if the product's ingredients caused it to be a negating expense, huh?

Cynist or realist?

Ok - Yoda-type response:

harsh, I am

perhaps

In actuality, I have a love for the industry, lifestyle and all that goes with it. I have seen a lot and certain things sadden me.

Would anyone like to see Instone at DA?

Essentially this is a branch of Proviant (ErgoPharm).

I am pretty sure that it is actually stallones line and he is not just the spokesperson. I think it is way to pricey for my taste.

Proviant Technologies is a manufacturer owned by Patrick Arnold. Proviant is the mother company of other companies like Ergopharm, LPJ Research, Instone…

I'm sure Leonard can correct me if I'm wrong.

Chris its up to you if you want to carry it i just say it in a magazine and alot of it looked like other companies products just with different name on it. I see now on his web site that he has a contest to and is giving away a bentley to the winner and a chance to train with him.

The instone MRP I usually just put in shaker. It gets REALLY thick. I liked Vanilla spice. Its a great flavor - tastes like cream of wheat and has the same texture.

Have I let you down on a price yet? If I decide to pick it up, you know it will be at a slam'n deal. WS or less.

we can always count on you for price Chris my only concern is if this is really a legitamite company or just a celeb ripping off everyone elses hard work and putting his name on it., then he gets some credit like he discovered something. cont get me wrong if it proves to be good stuff i would try it but i sometimes wonder if its good why so much advertising and giant prizes to give away

Stallone may be trying to capitalize in a booming industry AND restart his career. But, hey, have you seen him lately? He's beastier than he's ever been! He was always very lean, but now he has some SERIOUS mass for his frame....

I knwo it may sounds horrible. But, I admit, I'd love to see another Rocky film to close out the series, another Rambo film to do the same. Other Sly movies that need sequels:

Demolition Man
Rhinestone (just kidding)
