Okay di my first RAW power lifting meet on Feb 21,2009.
I'm 51 and 227lbs so I was in the 50 to 54 age group and 242lb group.

Remember a RAW meet no wraps no bench shirt, no squat suit and no deadlift suit.

Squat:
First attempt: 425 ... 3 white lights
Second attempt: 450 ... 3 white lights
Third attempt: 475 ... 3 white lights
Fourth Attempt World Record at 500lbs ... 3 white lights

Bench:
First attempt: 320 ... 3 white lights
Second attempt: 340 ... 3 white lights
Third attempt: 360 ... 3 white lights
Fourth Attempt World Record at 375lbs ... 3 white lights

Dead Lift:
First attempt: 500 ... 3 white lights
Second attempt: 525 ... 3 white lights
Third attempt: 545 ... 3 white lights
I could not do another lift so I forfeited my last lift.

Total 1380lbs World Record

Of course All the World Records are for Age: 50 to 54 and Weight class 242lb but I'm proud to have it for today.
I do qualify for the IPA World Record Championship in June, Ugh, Raw meets are killers!!!
Once the website gets updated I'll post a link to it.

I had more room for the squat maybe 30 or 40 more pounds but that is for next time, maybe. The bench maybe 10 more pounds but with my torn bicep tendon I feel lucky that I got what I got. The deadlift possibly 10 more pounds but I was beat by then.

Haha good stuff man! Those are great numbers. Just as you did a raw, I think I might do my first equipped meet.

I did an equipped meet last October, I like equipped meets but I wanted to try a raw just to see and say I did these weights officially. There is alway a person that bust on you when you do equipped saying "that is not real lifting" but they have never tried using equipment and if they did they would do worse than their raw lifts.

Where are you going to do your meet at?
Is it single ply or double?
Open back bench shirt or closed?
Waht weight class and age?

Hi Celc wondering if you were going to reply, hehe.
Yea I was hurtting that night and the next day, but I got that horse liniment that I rubbed on me and that took a lot of pain away.
By Monday I was back in the gym and doing 5 sets of 5 reps with 500lbs for squats, this was with a squat suit but no knee wraps. I'm going to try to keep the knee wraps off till I go over 600lbs to help strengthen them more, if I decide to do Worlds in the RAW.;)

it always interests me to see other lifters techniques. From the looks of it you have an awesome arch on the bench.

Yea just the right knee because I favor the left leg. This is because I tore the groin must on the left leg little over a year ago.
I think the supplements I take really help so I continue to take them tell everyone to take them too.
