I am starting my second X-Factor cycle. The first time I used it I found it to be a pretty good supplement. I am using MAN Scorch with it this time to lose a little weight. I started this monday and my weight was 183. I am not a bodybuilder in any respect. I am a athlete so thats why the workouts might be a little more total body. I am going to lift m,w,f and run, mainly treadmill, on tues, thurs.
Stats:
5'9
180 (I want to get down to 170ish)
BF% 14
I can try to get some guesses on max weights but they are only going to be guesses because I have not done that stuff in a while. Ask any questions if you want, I will try to answer them to the best ability.

Workout today went well, I'm just getting back to lifting really hard again. My weight was down to 178 which I attribute to a small lunch I had. Everything is going pretty well I really like the energy that Scorch gives me, not a big burst or anything just a consistent energy source.

I am doing some basic cardio on tuesday and thursdays so I will report what I did today. I really like the energy I get from the Scorch and I also think it might be giving me some appetite suppressant qualities. I am using Dietex about once a day so I know that is probably adding to it but I have used Dietex a lot and I have never had my appetite suppressed this much.

Hoodia properties are purported to benefit from a heavy initial dose (i.e. - like 5+ servings for about a week or so), then move into maintenance dosing. This could explain your lack of results with the Dietex. dunno.

Oh I did not mean to intend a lack of effect from Dietex, because when I used it intially last year I did do the 2x's a day for the first week or so (either caps or MRP). I am just saying the appetite suppression is much more pronounced. I am not really using the Dietex as a appetite suppresant, though I know it will affect it, I am mainly using it as a MRP because I really like the ease of mixing and the flavor.

Workout today went well, I am right around 180 pounds. I have not noticed the soreness yet, but I remember last X-Factor cycle it took a little more than a week. I did a lot of technique stuff today and it felt great. I defintely have noticed an increase in sweating, which I presume is from Scorch.

Yea the soreness doesnt come until about a week and a half or so..
But the sweating can also be from the X-factor..It made me sweat ALOT.
Glad to see that everything is going well though
keep up the great work!

Really I do not think I noticed a lot of sweating during X-factor during my last trial. But maybe it is increased even more because of the Scorch and X-Factor.
On a side note does anyone else who weighs themselves regularly notice a pretty significant weight discrepance?

yeah the X-factor used to make me sweat like a pig and i bet the Scorch isnt helping lol

your wheight changes literly 100+ times a day. it changes after every meal, or lack there of, when you sweat, exercise, and even go to the bathroom. if your looking for a more accurate approach, measure yourself the same time everyday. i like to measure myself first thing in the morning, because i know there wont be any meals, or exercise, or anything like that to influence my numbers.

Yeah I usually weigh myself before and after I lift which is always about the same time m,w,f. I knew it was normal to have weight changes but I was just wondering how much other people see.
On a side note I was able to get a bottle of Muscle Nitrous by VPX (not the RTD) so I will add that to this stack for a few weeks. I was able to get it really cheap because it is expiring in February.

I had a really hectic day today and went into my lift kinda dragging my weight was 177 but down to 175 by the end of it. It was a good workout given the conditions. I am starting to feel the extra soreness. It feels good in a sore sort of way, haha.

I had a great workout yesterday. I came in weighing 180. I had a really good workout as far as weights. It was my first great complete lifting day since getting back 4 weeks ago. Sorry for the late update, I had a bunch of finals today so I was studying all last night. Yeah I know saturday...f'n school.

I had a really good workout today. My weight was 180 and by the end was 178. I am starting to get some pretty good pumps throughout the day. I also did some cardio at the end of the workout, it was based on Charles Staley "No-Frills Cardio Challenge" on the EAS website. It was really intense and I got a really good sweat going.

Sorry about the late review but I was pretty busy all of yesterday and today. I came in weighing 179. I didn't have the greatest workout but the pumps are starting to come on. It is a definite just feeling of real tightness throughout the day.
I also have noticed a big increase in sweating over the past 2 days. I think the Scorch is starting to work more. J-Rod nice work on this product, I sent you a PM you might want to look at.
Also, on a side note Dietex by VPX is a really great product and I really think the Hoodia in it is a great appetite suppressant. It mixes great and tastes very good also.

Good workout today. It was pretty long as I did that EAS cardio thing. It is pretty intense. I came in weighing 178 and by the end of the workout I was at 175. My weights went well today also.

nice job man how you dealing with the soreness and all the cardio together?
Kingdime1332
December 18th, 2005, 03:54 AM
I haven't found the addition of cardio to increase my soreness that much. I was in pretty good shape before the cycle so I believe my muscles were a little used to the cardio aspect.
But the soreness is definitely there, I find that if you strectch a lot it will help cut down on the intensity though. I maybe just thinking that but either way being flexible is a good thing.

I have found the soreness is a little bit more intense but mainly the soreness just lasts longer. For example normally my glutes would not be pretty sore following a friday workout on monday but they still are. Thats why I believe that the soreness just lasts longer for me.

Today's workout went pretty good. I was started dropping the reps and sets on my squats and those felt very solid. My weight was a bit higher which I attribute to my girlfriend's b-day party last night and the extra food I ate. I came in weighing 179, which I was still happy with.

Yesterday was a very good workout. I weighed in at 178, which I was happy with because I didn't do cardio tuesday because my legs were very sore.
I believe the soreness was because of the X-Factor and also because I did lower reps and sets and higher weight this week for squats. It did feel very good though.
My cleans went great yesterday also which I think I can somewhat attribute to me not doing cardio the day before. Overall a very good workout and was happy with the weight.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late update I was out of town for christmas.
Today's workout went extremely well I had a great squat workout and one of my highest weights for sets of 3. I also was pleasantly surprised at my weight after the holiday lay off. I came in at 178. Overall everything going great I am getting to that point where the muscle pumps are starting to feel outstanding.

My workout today was a solid one. My weight was at 177 which was pretty consistent with what I have been seeing really nothing else to respond about.

I had a great workout today and was very happy with what happened. First sometimes when going on a cutting cycle there is a loss of some strength and power well today I found that that was not the case. My weight today was 175.
I always had a goal of getting my VJ up to 30 inches and today I was finally able to do so. I really think my weightloss contributed to this.
The other big happening was in my front squat and power snatch. I had one of my best sets of 2 with a power snatch at 82.5 KG. And my front squat was one of my better 1 rep maxes with 130 KG.
This workout showed that I had not lost my power and strength along with the fat. I am really exicted to see what my BF will be at the end of this cycle.

Congrats on the VJ.
Glad to see everything is going well for you. The Xfactor really helps with keeping the strength or better yet makes you even stronger.

Thanks Italion and Shutta. I really think this is a good stack for weight loss but to continue with strength and power gain.

I had a terrible workout yesterday. I was really sore from working out thursday and then to add on to that I have a cold so that was a bitch. My weight was at 175 so that is good, hopefully a restfuly weekend will help me recover.

I had a solid workout today my weight was at 175. I finished the Scorch so am I going to not use another weight loss supp for a few days then try the samples of Ventilean that I received. I will post on how that goes.
Kingdime1332
January 11th, 2006, 07:55 PM
Ok well I tried the Ventilean today and I will post a review in the Chemist's section.
I had a pretty good workout today I love the consistency of the pumps while on X-Factor they are total body pumps that last throughout the day. I love it. I am still doing very well with the weights moving up which I am happy about for a cutting cycle. I really do like this stack of X-Factor and Scorch and will probably end up doing it again sometime.

Sorry about the late update but I went out of town friday and came back late today. Nothing new to report my weight was a little high because of the vacation weekend. I was at 175 but still good strength and power exercises. I must have screwed up with the X-Factor because I ended up with 1 softgel which is strange. Oh well I haven't totally decided on my next stack but it will involve NXCare Methyl Ripped.

I was finally able to get my body fat done to see how much improvement I had gotten over the course of this stack, and I was very surprised at the results.
At the start of the stack I weighed about 183 and was at 14% bodyfat and by the end of the stack I was weighing 173 and was at 9.5% bodyfat. That was a big accomplishment for me as I had never been below 10%.
I also had a big increase in strength and was happy with those results as well. I expected them to move up but the rate at which they increased was more than what I thought. I also increased my vertical jump above 30 inches which I had never done before.
Overall, I thought it was a great stack for weightloss. I did start running and doing more cardio and eating less which is necessary for any weight loss cycle. But the rate at which I lost fat and gained strength was something I am not sure I would have achieved with out the X-Factor and Scorch. Overall two great products and I would definitely try them again.
