View Full Version : The Official NO-Challenge

Since there are so many NO products that claim to be the best, I will put up our AE2 vs. any other NO or Arginine-type pill product, and we will have a Discount Anabolics forum member be the judge...They can take AE2 first, or last, so we can prove to everyone that AE2 is the best NO product in the industry.....
Any challengers?

Hopefully we can get 2-3 companies to get involve, and the forum member who we choose (possibly who has the most posts?) will be required to keep detailed logs, and in the end, post which product was the best.

Most posts -- hmmmmmmm.....I certainly am competing for that bill and I think you can judge how impartial I would be.
Let's do it!
Consider me and one or two other guys Rodney. I ask for solely the purpose of having different body types, etc...

Your vote of confidence means quite a bit actually.

well honestly after reading your numerous posts (200 +) i have come to learn that you are very intelligent on supps, science, and lifting, and are very honest and give good advice. you tell it how it is and would be a good tester due to your prior supplement experiences and knowledge

I would have to agree. Dinoiii is very knowledable in many subjucts. He has given me much insight on certain subjects and I would definetly trust him to say what product produced the best results. If your product wins than I will most likely pick up a few bottles. Good Luck with all that and I cant wait to see the results.

I think the best way is to see who can use which product to increase their 1 rep max bench by the biggest percentage over two months.
Have each company pick a forum member and sponser them. One person could use Brand A and another Brand B. Having Competing forum members would be fun.
:)
Just make sure that whoever you sponser follows through and finishes.

how would you account for other supplement factors?

Well whoever had bought the most supplements from DA and worked out the hardest would win!
Of course you could have teams of forum members using product A or B and see which teams lift changed the most. A group of people might tend to balance things out as far as extraneous variables go.
Also a lot of people could participate and everyone would have fun.

I am fairly new out here but I have been strength training for over 20 years, over the last 4 I have used a few NO products with varying results, my results are specific to my training and my sports of course.
Of the NO products I have used:
NO2: Used it first, and noticed the gains in strength and endurance, used it for a long time.
PumpTech: Used it second, some results but not as noticeable as NO2, went back to NO2
Pinnacle NOX2: Using it now, for about the last three weeks I have noticed nothing here, except a little more money in my wallet.
I am going to go back to NO2 for a bottle and or then try something else maybe this AE2 will do the trick I will go out and take a look at the product now.

you have more money in your wallet from wasting it on pinnacle nox2? i am confused, but i think i understand what you mean - i hated their product

i didnt look up the price, but what i think he is saying is that it is cheaper than NO2, so in essence he saved money by buying a cheaper supp, but it doesnt work
Simonsteel
February 23rd, 2005, 02:04 PM
You are correct, it was cheaper than NO2 so I saved some money when buying it but it does not work, so of course I wasted money because it is ineffective.
In this world of piss poor regulations and manufacture’s unchecked grandiose claims, (allegedly substantiated by viable test results), the wasting of money in the process of trial and error for first hand experience with a supplement is common to most everyone, or is it just me?

i have to be honest, i have not really been unhappy with any products i have bought because i do as much research as possible, look up reviews, get on forums and ask people, then pick the product that seems the best

I think that is sound advice and exactly the reason why I am out here. I do spend more time than the average consumer going over the first hand results of other users before purchasing, if I can find them. As a matter of fact it was a group of people's claims that NOX2 was just as effective as NO2 for half the price that got me to try it in the first place. By the same token, a lot of people I have spoken with think NO2 and virtually the entire family of NO products are completely ineffective.
It is really hard to say what to pursue and what not to, hence why we all end up with the personal trial and error approach to some extent.
I am always willing to tell anyone and everyone what I am using or have used and what I thought of it, though that is little more than my opinion under my circumstances, but I hope it may help someone else that is looking for information.

likewise, i let my trials and errors help others out as well, when i started working out boards like this werent a big thing, so i wasted a lot of $ on inferior NO products

I think a Ae2 is possibly one of the best supplements I have ever tried. It is well.. freaking awesome. I have never experienced anything like it. There are veins popping out all over. My legs, arms, Lats, and I'm not even lean I have like 16% bodyfat right now so I could even imagine what I would look like if I was cut. Simply great pumps that last for days not hours.

I do like the Ae2 product and have remarked about it in previous posts. I would be curious in a head-to-head with VPX's new AEX.
